This was one moment Jayden had predicted from the very beginning of these exams and he was sure to make preparations.
Jayden turned slowly, folding his arms confidently. "You said something about pay, do I owe you anything?"
The big three—team one students, looked at each other in disbelief.
"Aren't you gonna run?" Troy leaned in, raising an eyebrow.
"Am I supposed to?" Jayden also leaned in.
Troy giggled softly like he pitied Jayden's confidence.
Benjamin cracked his knuckles. "Your ego is kicking in at the wrong time, boy, and we're gonna smash it."
Jayden sighed, "Could you be faster with your blabbing and show me what you've got?"
Team one stared at each other with mouths open, and just after that, Troy's face turned pale. His claws elongated from his fingers as he crouched, ready to tear Jayden apart.
"Seems you have a death wish, handsome. Look around, no one is gonna save you today."
