Chapter 133 - The Important Matter Full Moon Miyako Wanted to Say

Just as Lin Feng was preparing to go downstairs to make something to fill his stomach, a sudden knocking sound came from the first floor.

At this hour, it wasn't hard for Lin Feng to guess who might be visiting.

Sure enough—when he walked to the door and opened it, the person standing outside was exactly who he expected: Full Moon Miyako, holding a shopping bag in her hand.

"Lin Feng, how have you been these past few days? Yesterday's typhoon didn't cause any trouble on your side, right?"

The moment the door opened, Full Moon Miyako brushed past Lin Feng without hesitation, walking straight into the living room with the kind of familiarity one would have with their own home.

As she casually asked her question, her eyes wandered around the living room, as if searching for something.

"Meow~!"

Only when she heard that familiar meow did a smile bloom on her face.

Chachamaru had already caught her scent and was running downstairs from the second floor.

Full Moon Miyako had crouched by the bottom of the stairs long beforehand. When Chachamaru jumped into her arms, rubbing affectionately against her, she immediately scooped him up and entered full-on cat-absorbing mode.

Seeing this, Lin Feng couldn't help but shake his head helplessly. He closed the door behind him and walked into the living room.

"Fortunately you gave me a call in advance, so nothing major happened on my side. Really, thanks a lot, Miyako."

Standing beside Full Moon Miyako, who was busy getting showered with Chachamaru's affection, Lin Feng spoke to her.

"It's nothing, no need to thank me. I just happened to be helping out at my dad's research institute at the time, so when we received the information, I called you right away."

Full Moon Miyako opened a brand-new can of cat food she'd bought, offering it to Chachamaru while absentmindedly stroking his soft fur. She smiled as she answered Lin Feng.

Judging by her behavior, she probably hadn't come to check whether Lin Feng was affected by the typhoon… she'd mainly come to check on Chachamaru.

Lin Feng couldn't help feeling a little speechless.He—a full-grown adult—was actually less important than a cat…

But then again, Chachamaru really wasn't an ordinary cat. As the strongest nyāo pillar from Kimetsu no Yaiba, just his uncanny understanding of human behavior put him far above any normal pet.

He was naturally lovable—no surprise there.

At least it came with benefits: Chachamaru no longer lacked food at all.

Every time Shizuka or Full Moon Miyako visited, they brought him snacks and premium cat cans.

With the care and affection of two girls, Chachamaru's daily life could only be described as extremely comfortable.

"Mm, I was just about to make something to eat. Have you eaten? Want to join me?"

Lin Feng headed toward the kitchen as he spoke to her.

In situations like this, Full Moon Miyako still remembered to notify him in advance of danger—that alone was something he really appreciated.

If not for her call, he and the others probably wouldn't have reacted so quickly to the large-scale incident happening in Tokyo.

Had they been delayed on Dragonfang Island, the crisis in Tokyo might've become completely uncontrollable.

But since Miyako hadn't asked about any of that, Lin Feng didn't plan on bringing it up. The incident was already over anyway.

"Sure, I just came from the publishing house, and I haven't eaten yet."

"Oh—and I almost forgot. There's actually something very important I came to tell you today."

Full Moon Miyako smiled as she spoke, hearing that Lin Feng was about to cook.

"Something important?"

Lin Feng paused mid-step.

If it were anyone else telling him they had something important to say, Lin Feng wouldn't have reacted so strongly.

But Full Moon Miyako was different.

Her father was Professor Full Moon. If she said something important… it might be related to the plot of the movie Great Demon World Adventure.

He had just finished dealing with the Wind Messenger movie plot—and now the Great Demon World Adventure was next?

Lin Feng felt an indescribable sour excitement.

But that thought lasted only a moment before he dismissed it.

If the research institute really had information about an asteroid on a collision course with Earth, Full Moon Miyako would definitely still be at the institute helping out.

She absolutely wouldn't be in the mood to buy cat food, visit Chachamaru, and casually stay for lunch.

(Yes—by now it was almost noon. Because it was a holiday, Lin Feng had slept until he naturally woke up. According to him, it felt amazing…!)

So Lin Feng guessed the important matter must be something else entirely.

Wait.

She just said she came from the publishing house.

"Uh… don't tell me the publishing house thinks the current release pace still isn't fast enough, and they want to increase it to three chapters a week…?"

The last time Full Moon Miyako came over with "important news," it had been about increasing the weekly update count.

Given how explosively popular Kimetsu no Yaiba was in the market and manga circles, two chapters per week really wasn't enough to satisfy the readers' appetite.

Under such pressure, the publishing house making a special exception wasn't impossible.

Since the one-chapter-per-week tradition had already been broken, doubling it again to three chapters wasn't unthinkable.

It all depended on whether the author could grind out the equivalent amount of manuscript pages each week.

"Don't worry, they won't. This current pace is already fast enough. I came to tell you something else entirely."

"You go ahead and cook. I'm hungry anyway. We can talk while we eat."

Seeing Lin Feng's stunned expression, Full Moon Miyako laughed softly behind her hand and explained.

As an editor responsible for manga at the publishing house, she of course knew how hard it was to consistently deliver enough manuscript for two full chapters every single week.
