Powers, etc.

There are certain powers and etc in this book and this chapter will try to help you understand them prior the book. This is something you can read before starting the book or come back to if you do not understand something halfway through reading!

1. Elements

This book has characters who get an element upon awakening ( something that happens when someone is in this world for a certain period of time although it's rare in both people originally from the world and those who are not , which means one-lifers, world-visitors and others can also 'awaken' ) but instead of the characters purely being reliant on the element, it's more of an element and a special and unique ability that is related to the element. For example, a wind / light user can be extremely fast.

2. Elements (hierarchy)

There isn't much of a difference between the elements, excluding the fact that "darkness", "light", "abyssal energy" and all that- they're considered rare, but they're not like "Oh! This is a one in a lifetime occasion!", other elements aren't common either, but they also have their own uniqueness to them. Just because a character has a specific element doesn't immediately make them strong, because it mainly depends on the unique ability that comes with it. A fire ability for example, the least rare one, if used correctly, will most definitely win against an abyssal element user, as long as their ability is used correctly and to their advantage. So the power pretty much lies in how much you understand your own abilities and how capable you are of putting them to good use.

3. Mages

This is another different matter- mages can be both non-awakened and awakened. Mages are people that study and train their mama capacity to be able to cast more than your average spell. It's not that only special people have mana, everyone originally from that world has mana, and you can become a mage by training your control over mana and your capacity. If the mana goes too much out of control, it will cause the host body to combust, which is why people rarely try to become a mage unless they are absolutely positive in their abilities. Your average person can cast a simple spell once in a while without too much strain, but mages need to be able to do that non-stop. Mages can also use elements, but some spells do not require elemental energy.

4. Magic Stones

Basically magic stones, are stones that are capable of sucking in energy when it is given, although some magic stones are an exception, which take the host's energy even against will, so these stones are sometimes used to cuff awakened people and mages. But most magic stones store energy instead of depleting it, so magic stones can be used to cause sudden bursts of elemental magic, or bursts of energy or abilities. This comes in handy when you get in an extremely tight situation. Some magic stones are very rare and they have enough capacity to hold together a bunch of elements, magic and curses in one bind. But magic stones can cause explosions upon overload, just like mages can combust upon losing control of mana. Think of these two as dams. When the dam has too much pressure on it, it will eventually break and let out all the water. Just like the magic stone and the mage.

5. Cursed Ones

Cursed ones are people who have wronged or angered the divine beings, thus earn themselves a curse that will forever taint them and those around them. These people do not hurt others unless the others have helped the person in commiting the deed that has angered the beings. These cursed ones can be affected by various types of curses, depending on which being they angered.

6. Forced fate

Forced fate is when groups of divine beings all agree on a fate that they believe a certain person should have, thus forcing fate upon them. This cannot be removed unless another party outvotes the groups that decide on the fate. This is a cruel way to remove choice and possibility from the life of a person, although some (albeit rarely) are done with good intentions to save them.

7. Swords

Sword users can actually imbue their mana or element if they have either one into their sword and although it takes effort, can become swordmasters.

8. Swordmaster

Despite its name having "sword" in it, it does not only limit to swords and can be used for weaponry in close combat, axes, spears, and so on.

These are only some of the powers and there will be new chapters added to Volume 0 every time there is a new power needed to be added.
