Chapter 213 - Chapter 212

When he thought about it carefully…

He had a feeling that tonight's birthday party would be extremely busy for him.

Yukinoshita Yukino had already ordered an evening dress for Yuigahama Yui yesterday.

Miura Yumiko already owned an appropriate dress for the dance.

However, Akira still asked Tsurumi Saori to help purchase another evening dress just in case.

Unexpected Accident might occurs—

As for Nishimiya Shouko, Hiratsuka Shizuka had already prepared her dress in advance.

.....

Inside the Service Club—

Akira Fujimiya held Nishimiya Shouko's slender hand and guided her gently through the dance steps.

Following the guidance Yukinoshita Haruno had given him, he could now piece together every movement a girl should make in a formal dance.

Shouko was very smart—despite being unable to hear the music, she responded perfectly to Akira's lead, matching him step by step.

When Hiratsuka Shizuka arrived, she saw Akira teaching Nishimiya Shouko. A faint smile appeared on her face at the sight.

"Hiratsuka-sensei, stop smiling like that. I plan to invite you to dance with me tonight," Akira said, glancing at her.

"Me? I can't danc—" Hiratsuka Shizuka looked away.

"I can teach you. I believe Mr. Hiratsuka would be happy to see it," Akira interrupted gently.

"O-okay… then I'll accept." Hiratsuka Shizuka agreed with a faint blush dusting her cheeks.

After finishing a round of practice with Nishimiya Shouko, Akira released her hand and walked toward Hiratsuka Shizuka, gesturing politely for her to take his hand.

Hiratsuka Shizuka watched his movement and suddenly felt that Akira's posture seemed surprisingly professional.

She hesitated, then placed her hand in his.

"This is something Haruno taught me," Akira whispered lightly.

Hiratsuka Shizuka followed Akira's steps as the two began to dance.

Feeling the eyes of several girls watching them from nearby, her face turned even redder. But Akira remained perfectly calm, leading her smoothly.

When the song finished—

"Hiratsuka-sensei, you're amazing!" Yuigahama Yui said with open envy.

"Sensei, that was very good," Yukinoshita Yukino commented, sounding like a professional judge.

"I've watched many people dance, and Fujimiya-kun seemed like a real professional just now. It wasn't Hiratsuka-sensei keeping up with him—it was Fujimiya-kun guiding her movements," Miura Yumiko said softly.

Akira truly was guiding the dance—and that level of guidance required both skill and perfect accuracy.

"I… I have something to do, so I'll head back first," Hiratsuka Shizuka murmured, her face still red, as she quickly left the Service Club room.

Akira then approached Yukinoshita Yukino and stretched out his hand. "Yukino."

"I don't need you to teach me," Yukino answered confidently.

"I want to see how you dance," Akira said with a faint grin.

"You really are impossible…" Yukino muttered. Her pretty face flushed slightly as she placed her hand in his.

Even without any music, the two danced gracefully, their movements steady and elegant.

"Who did you learn from, Yukino?" Akira asked.

"Of course my sister," Yukino replied.

"No wonder your steps felt familiar—it turns out we had the same teacher," Akira said with a quiet laugh, placing his hand lightly on her slender waist.

"How much did my sister teach you?" Yukino asked, adjusting the steps.

"A lot. Including… other things too," Akira answered with a meaningful smile.

"You're the worst." Yukino stepped on his foot, her face turning bright red.

Nishimiya Shouko and Yuigahama Yui had both learned how to follow Akira's lead while dancing.

Before returning to class, Akira received a call from Hanada Yui.

He froze for a moment, immediately realizing something.

"…Don't tell me you received an invitation to Miss Yukinoshita's birthday party?" Akira asked.

"Master Fujimiya, you already knew?" Hanada Yui sounded equally surprised.

"I knew the moment I saw you calling," Akira said.

"I see. Actually… it's not just me. Ms. Kanae should have also received an invitation," Hanada Yui said.

"So you're calling because…?"

"I'm worried I won't be able to refuse certain invitations. So I wanted to ask if Young Master Fujimiya can help me tonight," Hanada Yui said quietly.

Akira fell silent for a moment.

It wasn't surprising.

Both Sada Kana and Hanada Yui were still single.

Especially Hanada Yui—she managed the future manga publishing company, the video platform, the game studio…

Tonight, many people would naturally approach her.

Sada had enough experience to handle such things. But for Hanada Yui, this would be her first time attending a large banquet.

Akira already had his answer.

"Alright," he said. "I'll ask you for a dance later."

"…O-okay," she answered softly.

.....

When school ended in the afternoon,

Yuigahama Yui and the others skipped free tutoring.

Hiratsuka-sensei also left early.

Miura Yumiko's father, Miura Harato, arrived to pick up his daughter.

He looked like a calm, reliable middle-aged man. He had clearly come hoping to greet Yukinoshita Yukino, the second daughter of the Yukinoshita family.

However, Yukino did not give him an opportunity.

She simply escorted Yuigahama Yui straight to her apartment to get ready.

Miura Harato looked slightly disappointed when he realized he had missed the chance.

At that moment, Akira approached him.

Miura Harato blinked in surprise when he saw Akira.

"This is Miss Yukinoshita's boyfriend," Miura Yumiko quickly explained.

"Hello, my name is Akira Fujimiya," Akira said, offering his hand.

"Ah—hello, Young Master Fujimiya. I am Yumiko's father, Miura Harato." He shook Akira's hand a bit too fast, clearly nervous.

Anyone capable of becoming Yukinoshita Yukino's boyfriend could not possibly be an ordinary person.

"I'm also Yumiko's friend. Please relax, uncle. May I ask what business you're in?" Akira asked politely.

"I run a transportation company," Miura Harato replied, his expression slightly awkward at being addressed so casually.

"Transportation? I'll mention your company to Miss Yukinoshita. I think Yukinoshita Construction could cooperate with you," Akira said thoughtfully.

{T/N: Haruno}

"…Really? Fujimiya-kun?" Miura Harato looked stunned.

"I have some partnership with the Yukinoshita family. Miss Yukinoshita should give me some face," Akira said confidently.

"You also manage a business?" Miura Harato asked in shock.

"Future Comics Publishing House and Flash Animation are mine. I also recently acquired an idol agency—Hoshiyuu Agency—and I'm recruiting talent. Since we currently lack someone who can guide Yumiko, I plan to let her stay with Flash Animation for now. Once we find a notable idol, Yumiko will transfer to Hoshiyuu." Akira explained.

"Y-Yumiko isn't working part-time…?" Miura Harato turned toward his daughter, clearly just knowing about it.

Yumiko looked down, guilty.

Miura Harato immediately understood the situation and didn't say anything.

"Yumiko has been singing for Flash Animation. She has a lot of potential. Even if she doesn't become a top idol, she'll definitely become a popular one," Akira added.

"Then… I entrust her to you, Fujimiya-kun." Miura Harato bowed.

"No problem," Akira replied kindly.

After exchanging a few more words, Miura Harato and Yumiko left.

.....

Inside the car, Miura Harato hesitated before speaking.

"Yumiko, about you and Hayama-kun…"

"The person Hayama-kun likes isn't me. I never confessed to him, not even once," Yumiko said quietly.

"Then… about Fujimiya-kun…"

"I like Fujimiya-kun." Yumiko finally said it out loud.

Miura Harato stared at his daughter.

"Don't you mind his relationship with Miss Yukinoshita?"

"…I don't." Yumiko lowered her head.

"....Is he good to you?"

"Yes. Fujimiya-kun is very good to me. He gave me opportunities. He even acquired Hoshiyuu Agency partly for my sake," she whispered.

She wasn't wrong. Akira had indeed done that with her in mind.

"…Then I trust your judgment," Miura Harato said seriously, fully supporting her decision, if she think what she is doing is right for her.

"Dad?" Yumiko looked at him wide-eyed.

"I haven't been able to take care of you properly. All I ever did was give you pocket money. That was my failing," he said softly.

"We all understand you're busy with work," Yumiko replied.

"Yumiko, you're grown now. You should choose the life you want. Even if your relationship fails one day, that's fine. What matters is that you tried," Miura Harato said.

"…Thank you, Dad." Yumiko felt warmth bloom in her chest.

.....

Night finally arrived.

Akira and Nishimiya Shouko sat together in the back seat of Hiratsuka-sensei's car. Akira wore a perfectly fitted suit, while Shouko wore a conservative evening gown.

Hiratsuka-sensei had dressed similarly.

Once the car began moving, Akira gently held Shouko's hand. Shouko looked out the window at the passing night scenery, her little blushed reflecting through the window.

Akira looked at her before leaning close and passing a piece of paper to her.

Shouko took the paper, curious as she began reading her cheeks instantly turned bright red.

"Don't bully Shouko," Hiratsuka Shizuka said from the driver's seat, having noticed the two in the mirror.

"Hiratsuka-sensei, I'm not bullying her. I was just asking whether she felt her dress was comfortable," Akira said innocently.

"So you plan to help her… fix her dress?" Hiratsuka Shizuka raised an eyebrow.

"Yes. Please understand, Hiratsuka-sensei," Akira replied calmly, holding Nishimiya Shouko a little closer.
