Lu Qi made a trip to the forensic department, where the autopsy results had already come out. Yang Mufeng's time of death was between eight and nine in the evening, and the direct cause of his death was the ingestion of a large amount of ricin. However, no trace of ricin was found in the glass at the scene, and it's currently unclear how the poison was administered.
Lu Qi decided to arrange for some staff from that night to come and identify people. Chen Weiwei was still wearing the same clothes as the day before.
Two of the staff recognized Chen Weiwei as the woman who appeared at table 17 last night. The attire and height matched, but the hair color was different, and Chen Weiwei had just dyed her hair this morning.
The case seemed to be coming clear. Led by Li Zhong, the people believed that with physical and testimonial evidence, as well as a potential motive, they could basically identify Chen Weiwei as the culprit.
