Before dinner, Deborah came out of the room, her complexion significantly paler than before, clearly over-exerted.

Both Ge Yu and Fu Yingshu were genuinely skilled. With a Half-step Ghost King appearing in the castle, they surely would have sensed something, and maybe if Deborah had held out until they arrived, she could have been saved.

"I'm going to have dinner now, are you coming?" Deborah asked.
