The current Cui Ying is a completely different person from before, looking even ten years younger.
"That seems to be Scholar Ji... no, he participated in the Spring examinations and aced them this time. He shouldn't be called that anymore; it's Advanced Scholar Ji now." Before Cui Ying arrived in the Capital City, Ji Qing was still a Scholar.
Originally unacquainted, but Ji Qing had become a Scholar at just over ten years old, making a name for himself not only in Mei County, but across the entire dynasty. At the time, she happened to be in the county town and had seen Ji Qing and his attendant student.
It could be said that Ji Qing alone had brought fame to Mei County, not to mention the village where he was from. Now that he had succeeded in the examinations, everything related would only improve.
Quickly, the voice of Ji Qing's attendant student rang out in a corner of the tea house: "Sir, you're third, your rank is third!"
