Simon Forrester took the suitcase to the second-floor bedroom, opened the windows for ventilation, and carefully checked every corner for any safety issues.
When he went downstairs, Victor was drinking milk and reading a picture book, while Sienna Thornton was busy in the open kitchen.
He walked over, wrapped his arms around her waist, kissed her ear, and looked at the baby pasta she was preparing.
"Let's go out for lunch and then see the flowers," he said.
She nodded, "I'll make some pasta for our son first."
Victor hasn't had any seasonings yet, so Sienna specifically brought baby pasta, dumplings, eggs, and pumpkin millet from home, planning for Victor to have pasta with steamed eggs for lunch, dumplings for dinner, and pumpkin millet porridge tomorrow morning.
While she was cooking pasta, Simon wrapped his arms around her waist and whispered.
"Remember the short cabinet behind the door?"
Her face turned red, and she whispered, "How could I forget..."
