Sienna Thornton smiled and stepped forward to hug her: "Alright, alright, it's okay now. Seth Sutton's mom says some nasty things, don't take it to heart, just let it go in one ear and out the other. Anyway, you two don't live together, so it's fine. When I first got together with your brother-in-law, you wouldn't believe how harsh his mom's words were. I just listened and ignored it. If I really cared about it, I wouldn't have been happy myself."
Mina Thorne burst into laughter: "Aunt Sylvia, right? She used to fight with my mom, and she'd say all sorts of nasty things, I've seen it before and can imagine. I used to think, whoever marries into her family is going to have a tough time..."
After saying that, she smiled through her tears.
Sienna Thornton laughed as well: "Didn't expect it to be me, huh? She really looked down on me at first."
"She looks down on everyone."
