Suddenly, the phone left on the bedside table began vibrating urgently.
Maeve turned her head to look.
The white characters on the black caller ID screen bounced vividly.

It's a woman's name.
Maeve snapped back to her senses and pushed Gage Grant away forcefully: "Your phone is ringing!"
"It's not important..." Gage moved closer to kiss her, pinning her arms above her head with a firm grip.
She raised her leg against Gage's abdomen: "Let go!"
The phone on the bedside table continued to buzz.
Gage sobered up mostly, rolled off Maeve, sat on the edge of the bed, grabbed the phone, and answered it with his eyes closed: "Yeah, that's me."
"I just got home, took a shower, and I'm getting ready to sleep."
