Grant Family's old mansion, dining room.
"Here, Skye, have some shrimp." Gage picked up a lobster and placed it on Skylar's plate, "Eat more."
Skylar frowned, looked down at her ten fingers. She had spent a few thousand before the new year on these manicures.
She hooked her hand onto Gage's arm, and said coquettishly, "But if I peel the shrimp, my nails will break."
Old Master Grant heard and looked over.
The young girl had long nails on all ten fingers, painted red, with some shiny little decorations on them.
Clearly, these were hands that didn't do work.
The old man coughed lightly, not looking too pleased.
Mrs. Grant also noticed Skylar's manicures, thinking about how if those random things on her nails fell on the bed after they had kids, a child might accidentally eat them?
Yet, due to the influence of Skylar's family, she didn't dare to say anything.
