Pei Yan was drying his wet black hair with a towel, wearing nothing but a bath towel around his waist. Water droplets slid down his skin and disappeared into the towel, and he seemed surprised to find someone at the door. His hand paused, and a hint of surprise flashed in his dark eyes.
When his gaze landed on Qin Yun, who was wearing only thin, form-fitting clothes, his skin, already a bit flushed from the recent shower, turned an even deeper shade of red, including his entire ear, and for a moment, his eyes were unfocused.
Qin Yun was caught off guard by the sudden burst of steam. Her eyes took in a swath of fair skin and, instinctively looking up, saw who it was, and froze in place.
Their gazes met.
Qin Yun's mind went blank. She instinctively grabbed the clothes she had just taken off to cover herself.
