Thinking of this, Summer Shawcross put down her phone, sighed, and then asked the butler.
"Is he coming back late again today?"
"I think so. According to Mr. Mo, he has been very busy lately," the butler nodded and said.
Hearing this, Summer lightly nodded her head and then took out her phone to glance at the time.
It was almost dinner time, and she wondered if, given how busy he was, that man would eat on time.
His body had only just recovered not long ago.
Thinking of this, Summer couldn't help but lift her head and suddenly ask the butler.
"By the way, is dinner ready?"
"The kitchen is preparing it now. Are you hungry, ma'am? Should I make a bowl of noodles for you first?" Hearing her words, the butler immediately asked with concern.
Summer shook her head and said, "I'm not hungry... I actually wanted you to pack up the dinner for me, I'm going to take it with me when I go out later."
Having to eat alone on her birthday night felt disturbingly lonely.
