Listening to her words, Noah Drexler couldn't help but frown.
A moment later, he pursed his thin lips and asked her patiently.
"Really not going?"
"Hmm." She nodded seriously.
Her earnest and angry demeanor added a touch of indulgence to Noah Drexler's face.
"Worried that those guys will give me a hard time?" He moved his adam's apple, his voice now a bit softer.
As his words fell, Summer Shawcross was taken aback.
"How did you know..."
Facing her confusion, Noah Drexler just pursed his lips.
Her thoughts were written all over her face. When she said she wanted to come to the company with him, her face was full of worry that he would be bullied upon returning.
If he didn't take her to the meeting, who knows what wild ideas this woman would come up with.
Noah Drexler didn't say anything further, just turned and continued walking towards the direction of the meeting room.
Summer remained stunned for two seconds, then continued to follow his footsteps.
