As his voice resounded, the hand resting on her waist tightened slightly.
"It's nothing, I was just curious, asking casually," Summer Shawcross said softly with a lip curl, but her eyes held a serious gaze at him.
Her gaze startled Noah Drexler for a moment.
He could see that she really wanted to know...
But...
"It's been too long, I can't remember clearly," he suddenly moved his thin lips a few seconds later, and said lightly.
As if... the hardships of years ago meant nothing to him.
Everything he had endured in the past, he didn't want her to know!
Listening to his words, Summer Shawcross was slightly stunned.
His nonchalant tone, however, left her somewhat puzzled.
Seeing he was not going to say anything, she didn't press further, just curled her lips.
"That's fine!" A smile appeared on her face.
After all, the past events were no longer important to them!
