Felix Langdon stood there with a stern face, and both Director Gable and the producer couldn't ignore him, thinking some part of the process had gone wrong, angering the big boss.
"President Langdon, is there something you're unhappy with?"
Felix fully exercised his authority as the big boss, folding his arms and frowning, looking very displeased at the two people embracing.
"Does your crew always take this long to film a scene? No wonder it's burning money."

Lingering? Isn't this the basic process of filming? Only by rehearsing well can shooting go smoothly. Not rehearsing is what really burns money!
"You're right; we will start filming immediately."
Whatever the big boss says goes.
Usually, given Director Gable's temperament, he would never allow financial backers to interfere with filming. But the amount of money Felix provided was simply too much, and with an actor and an actress of such caliber, a bit of rehearsal wouldn't delay the formal shooting.
