Caleb avoided her topic, whether or not it was Jared Quinn's people secretly protecting Melody Thorne, he wasn't certain, but even if he was, he wouldn't tell her.
That man wasn't suitable for her; staying with him would make Melody Thorne die even faster.
"Now?" Melody Thorne looked at him. "Are you sure? Won't you, later, like a temporarily insane person, tell everyone about this? Shouldn't you think it over? Maybe everyone will think of you as a lunatic again?"
Caleb's eye twitched; if it weren't Melody Thorne standing in front of him, he would have strangled her. "Just do as I say."
"I think you should reconsider," Melody Thorne frowned, although she also wanted him to reclaim his identity, she felt there was something she needed to remind him of, but she couldn't recall it at the moment,
"Or maybe you should meet that witness first?"
