"Does it hurt?" He strode over, sat on the edge of the bed, his hands on either side of her. He had checked, yesterday he lost his temper, determined to make her yield, thus he lost control and restraint, causing her to be injured.
Melody Thorne shut her eyes tightly, stubbornly sneered, "I've already satisfied you in everything you wanted, asking me if it hurts now is quite redundant."
Jared Quinn stared at her little face. He had tormented her too severely yesterday, so today, no matter how much she taunted him, he couldn't get angry. He merely saw it as her being petulant, "The medicine has been applied, you'll recover soon."
Melody Thorne avoided his gaze, refusing to acknowledge him. All she wanted now was a pill.
"Do you hate me?" Jared Quinn gazed down at her.
"Hate you?" Melody Thorne scoffed, acting indifferent, "What is there to hate about you? God created men and women for pleasure, it doesn't matter with whom."
