Ivy took out her phone and dialed Jared Quinn's number, but it didn't connect. Ever since she appeared at his swimming pool last time, it seemed her number could never get through to him.
Her face darkened, and she moved to the hospital service desk to redial Jared's number.
Because it was a call from inside the hospital, the line was picked up particularly quickly. "What's the matter?"
Hearing the voice from the phone, Ivy's heart trembled. She hadn't been able to reach him for a long time.

Fearing he might hang up, Ivy quickly spoke, "I just saw Melody at the hospital. I saw her go into Caleb's room, and I'm worried something might happen to her.
