Jared Quinn quickly took off his suit jacket and covered her wound, bending down to pick her up and take her back.
"Don't touch me, I hate seeing you. Since I met you, I've been unlucky, all the way till now, stay away from me!" Melody Thorne shouted, "Take your hands off, I can walk myself."
"Try moving one more time?"
"I don't want to see you," Melody Thorne resisted, and the more she resisted, the paler her face became.
Jared Quinn grabbed her arm, momentarily unsure if he was angry or felt sorry, turned his tall body around and squatted down, "Get on!"

"Are you getting on or not?" Jared Quinn had completely run out of patience.
Seeing him about to stand up again, Melody Thorne quickly suppressed her pain and yelled, "I'll get on, I'll get on, can't I just get on?"
She lunged forward.
