"Jared, you've always been so observant, how could you fall for something like this this time?" Leon Rivers looked at him incredulously.
Jared Quinn rubbed his chin with a large hand, his gaze deepening. He usually had an excellent memory, but couldn't recall any possibilities.
"Is there a drug that you can carry with you that makes you temporarily unaware of your actions?"
"No, unless you were already drugged from the start. But I've checked all the drinks at the scene, and there's nothing wrong with any of them. Whoever did this is well-hidden, striking without anyone noticing."
