"Why is Miss Lynch here again?" Harold Chapman looked at her with a half-smile.
"I had an appointment with a friend," Wendy Lynch said. "He's already left. Cousin, I have something to discuss with you, let's talk downstairs."
Her gaze shifted around, indicating that there was something wrong and unsafe here.
Harold Chapman also keenly detected an unusual scent from the place.
"Let's go."
The three of them took the same elevator down, suddenly the elevator shook a few times and then quickly descended.
"Bang!" A loud noise resounded as the elevator hit the bottom.
Wendy Lynch almost fainted, and the elevator was plunged into darkness. Due to inertia, she bumped into Jared Quinn.
Originally, she thought Jared Quinn would help her up, but instead of reaching out, he avoided her with disgust, causing Wendy Lynch to knock her head against the elevator door.
