"Melody, Melody," Mrs. Quinn hurriedly ran down from upstairs. "Melody, let me explain."
"Explain what?" Jared Quinn's deep voice carried an indescribable danger.
"I... let me explain..." Mrs. Quinn's face turned pale under Jared's gaze, but she still couldn't speak out, so she blamed the earlier incident on Melody Thorne. "It's... it's her, she must have heard some nonsense from outside and then wrongly accused me, wanting to report to you."
"Timmy, are you okay?" Hearing the commotion, Timmy immediately ran down from above and looked up at the obviously frightened Melody Thorne.
"Timmy, what just happened downstairs?" Leon Rivers crouched down and asked.
Timmy pointed upstairs. "Melody just went up to find me. I told her that recently Grandma has been secretly making phone calls, then she went up, and a short while later, she ran down. I don't know why, but I'm sure Melody didn't do anything wrong."
