Melody Thorne got out of the car and headed straight for the Western restaurant.
"Melody, over here," Nina King was already greeting Kate, and casually pointed out Ashton Young and Kiki Sutton, who happened to be passing by.
"Melody," Kiki waved at her.
Melody Thorne walked over to her and greeted Kate, "Hello, I'm Melody Thorne. I've seen several of your plays before, really liked them, so I asked Nina to arrange this meeting."
"Hello, I'm Kate. I'm delighted you noticed me, and as for you, you look exactly the same as on TV, even more beautiful than on the shows. Your film Willow Bright was also outstanding."
"Thank you."
"How have you been lately?" Melody Thorne sat next to Kiki on her left and asked softly.
"Pretty good," Kiki's fingers pinched the cup, her smile even happier than before.
Melody Thorne understood; it seemed Ashton Young was treating her well.
