"Sister-in-law, isn't what you're doing a bit unfair?" Cole O'Connell leaned his tall frame against the wall, one hand in his pocket, with his high collar accentuating his distinct, chiseled features.
"What's unfair about it? The more you keep an eye on her, the more she might want to see that man. Instead of letting her meet in secret, isn't it better that I help you supervise?" Melody Thorne crossed her arms, lifting her elegant chin.
A look that clearly said she was helping him.
Cole O'Connell extinguished the cigarette in his hand, wanting to break up the two people talking, as an unstoppable fire burned in his amber eyes.
"You're a straightforward guy, right?" Melody propped a hand against the door, her intent clear.
Cole's eye twitched slightly. "You should ask Jared Quinn; if he's straightforward, then so am I."
