"By the way, Elias Hale is supposed to return today, isn't he?" Melody Thorne suddenly remembers. "Shall we go see him off?"
In a second, Jared Quinn's face turns a bit dark. "Eat."
"Jealous again?" Melody Thorne teases, "Mr. Quinn, is one bottle of vinegar enough for you?"
"Not enough!"
Melody Thorne leans in to give him a quick kiss. "I owe my memory recovery all to him. We should go see him off!"
"Madam... Madam, there's a person outside claiming to be someone from The Gambling King, Jenson Ona, shouting to see you outside the villa," the butler comes in from outside.
"What's he here for? To snatch someone?" Melody Thorne scrunches her little face.
"Doesn't look like he's here to snatch someone! Besides, he wouldn't dare trespass on Mr. Quinn's territory!"
"I'll go take a look." Melody Thorne puts down her chopsticks and leaves the hall.
Jenson Ona stands by the villa gate, his large hand clenched into a fist, suppressing his easily angered emotions.
