Josh frowned slightly: "Are you waiting for me?"
The man's long eyelashes were a cool shade of white-gray, resembling a leukemia patient: "I've been waiting for you for a long time."
Josh subtly observed the people around, seeing them slowly retreat, fearful and cautious, as if afraid to disturb this man.
She looked at the man: "Who are you? Are you also an experiment here?"
The man laughed: "Who am I, shouldn't you know best?"
Josh looked at him suspiciously: "What do you mean?"
The man had a trace of mockery flash across his face: "I appeared here just to give you... ah!"
Mid-sentence, he suddenly seemed to be struck by something, letting out a painful howl, his already pale skin turning even more frighteningly white.
Outside, the experimental subjects suddenly seemed to receive some command, scrambling back to their cages, as if something terrifying would happen if they were late.
Seeing this, Josh sensed something was wrong and quickly ran out.
