Next is the Mixed Zone, which occupies about 40% of the maximum radius of 100 kilometers. This is also the area with the most diverse Soul Beasts and the highest cultivation ages in the Star Dou Great Forest.
It is mainly the habitat of hundred-year, thousand-year, and ten-thousand-year Soul Beasts. Even
hundred-year Soul Beasts need the strength of their clan to live in this area.
The innermost 40-kilometer radius, or an area with a diameter of 80 kilometers, is called the Core Zone of the Star Dou Great Forest.
Although this area is quite vast, the number of Soul Beasts living here is far less than in the Mixed Zone.
This is because those that can inhabit this area are all powerful Soul Beasts.
Ten-thousand-year Soul Beasts are the main feature here, and occasionally, terrifying hundred-thousand-year Soul Beasts can be seen.
According to the research of Soul Masters, Soul Beasts that can possess a small territory in this area must have a cultivation level of at least 30,000 years.
At the very center of this 80-kilometer-diameter area, a 10-kilometer-diameter zone, lies what is known as the Great Perilous Land, also called the Forbidden Zone of Life.
In the incomplete maps of the Star Dou Great Forest, this area is always marked with a deep crimson color.
Legend has it that terrifying beasts inhabit that place, a place even more terrifying than the core of the far north, a place even human Super Douluo dare not easily venture into.
That is the Lake of Life, the place where Di Tian and others, and even the Silver Dragon King, slumber.
From Mo Feiyun's speed, Huo Yuhao could tell that his destination was undoubtedly the Mixed Zone.
After all, the Soul Beasts living in the Mixed Zone far surpassed those in the outer zones in terms of variety, quantity, and quality.
The group continued forward, traveling another five kilometers or so, when Mo Feiyun's speed began to slow, and he moved closer to Huo Yuhao and the other two behind him.
"Continuing forward, we'll soon enter the outer edge of the Star Dou Great Forest's mixed zone. Everyone, be careful."
"To avoid potentially angering some sensitive soul beasts, I'll reduce the area covered by the flowing clouds. The intimidating effect will decrease accordingly. Prepare for battle."
