"Miss Sera, you shouldn't overwork yourself. Let me handle that," Lily said as she approached Sera, who was washing the dishes.
James had already told her everything—about Zerek and his men and how Leo dealt with them and also dispatched them.
At first, Sera had panicked even more when she heard they had killed the Baron.
But then came the next revelation from James.
James had now become a Baron.
Relief washed over her as Sera sighed in relief, only for it to be replaced by shock when she realized he had ranked up. Slightly amused, James went on to explain in detail, satisfying her curiosity.
"Leo… he used a h-high-quality treasure to heal us both?" she asked in disbelief, her voice trembling as her mind began to spin with numbers.
The kind of treasure that was capable of restoring a damaged soul… even the weakest of such treasures would cost an unimaginable fortune.
