He froze, breathing heavily.
"You lost," she continued coldly. "The moment you underestimated me."
Jianna lifted the gun higher, the barrel steady as stone against his jaw, her eyes burning into him.
"Get on the fucking bed," she said.
Oliver's breath stuttered. "Jianna…"
"Now," she snapped, cutting him off. "Slow. Hands where I can see them."
He hesitated for half a second too long.
Her finger tightened on the trigger just enough to make the message clear. "I won't repeat myself."
Swallowing hard, Oliver turned and climbed back onto the bed, his movements stiff. The mattress dipped beneath his weight as he sat.
Jianna followed him with the gun the entire time, never blinking."Lie back," she added coldly. "Spread your arms and legs apart."
Oliver's jaw clenched in humiliation and anger. He lay back on the bed, spreading his arms and legs as commanded.
