Athena groaned instantly. "He is such a baby."
Eryx scoffed under his breath. "Princess, his mate disappeared for months and came back talking about hybrid bloodlines and mysterious fathers. I think he earned the right to be dramatic."
Athena shot Eryx a playful glare immediately. "Don't encourage him," she muttered before rolling her eyes dramatically, before she ran off upstairs.
Athena knocked lightly on the door before pushing it open without waiting for an answer.
Azrael was laying on the bed with one arm behind his head while the other held his phone loosely.
The room was quiet except for the faint sound coming from the screen.
The moment she walked in, his eyes lifted toward her briefly. Then he looked back down at his phone again.
Athena stared at him for a second before walking further into the room looking entirely too comfortable after emotionally destabilizing everybody downstairs.
She climbed onto the bed beside him quietly.
