Chapter 103 - Chapter 102

Morning,

Inside the School—

Walking through the campus after saying goodbye to Nino, Gojo Satoru didn't even bother heading straight to the staff room.

He had only one goal right now—

Find a place to Sleep!

Even though he had [Reverse Cursed Technique], which could force his body into a refreshed state, Gojo still believed one thing very firmly:

Sleeping was one of humanity's greatest pleasure.

And last night?

He definitely didn't sleep well, he had clean up everything after the party.

And—

Thanks to Kitagawa Marin, who had woken him up early in the morning with the energy of a nuclear reactor, Gojo's brain was now running at about… five percent.

So naturally, he decided—

He would be lazy today.

He would dump the class on Hiratsuka Shizuka.

And Hiratsuka-sensei wouldn't refuse anyway. And he would make up for it.

"Heh… heh…"

Gojo chuckled quietly, hands in his pockets, strolling like he owned the whole world.

As he looked around, he didn't find a perfect sleeping spot.

But instead—

He saw a familiar silhouette.

Standing beside the vending machine.

From behind, her figure was slim and quiet, and her long hair fell neatly down her back.

She was squatting in front of the vending machine, tapping it lightly like she was trying to negotiate with it.

Gojo Satoru, who was curious, walked over, and as he got closer, he heard a faint sound of distress.

"Ah… what is going on… it was fine yesterday…Why is it suddenly not giving me my drink?"

When he got close enough, he lowered his head slightly—

And saw her face clearly.

"Oh."

It was Nakano Miku.

One of the Nakano quintuplets.

The quiet one.

The headphone girl.

The one who looked like she could be bullied by a strong gust of wind.

Gojo didn't say anything immediately.

Instead, he simply squatted down beside her, like it was the most natural thing in the world.

"This vending machine has an old problem," Gojo said casually, from beside, "Last time I bought water, it swallowed it."

"W-What?!"

The sudden voice made Miku jump like she'd been struck by lightning.

Her whole body stiffened.

Her face instantly turned into a shocked expression, like she had just seen a ghost.

Then she turned her head slowly—

And saw a tall man with white hair and sunglasses squatting beside her.

Gojo Satoru.

The most suspicious-looking teacher in the entire school.

Miku stared at him.

Gojo stared back.

A few seconds passed.

Then Miku blurted out—

"It's you…The white-haired boyfriend of Nino."

The moment the words left her mouth, Miku froze.

Her eyes widened.

Her lips parted slightly.

Then she covered her mouth with both hands.

Her cheeks turned pink.

"…Ah."

…I said it.

I said it out loud!

It's over, it's so impolite to say what's in her heart.

Gojo Satoru's expression didn't change.

But inside his heart—

He was speechless.

"…Why do people keep calling me that?"

He sighed and looked at her.

"Please just call me handsome."

One after another, everyone saying White haired this, White haired that, when he will get promoted from White-haired guy to that Handsome guy.

Nobody understand my suffering.

Sob...Sob....

Miku blinked.

Then she nodded quickly, flustered, as she apologize.

"S-Sorry… sorry!"

Before adding,

"I didn't mean it in a bad way."

Gojo waved his hand lazily.

"It's fine. I've been called worse."

Way worse...

Then he looked at the vending machine.

"So… you're buying a drink, and it swallowed your money?"

Miku's brows furrowed in frustration.

"...Yes." Miku nodded slowly, as she said, "Yesterday, it didn't do this. But today… I put in money twice, and it swallowed both."

Gojo nodded slowly, like he was listening to a serious case.

"I see."

Then he stood up.

At the same time, he said—

"Step back a little."

Miku blinked.

"Huh?"

Gojo didn't explain.

He just pointed behind her.

"Back."

Miku didn't understand what he was planning, but she obediently stood up and took a few steps back.

She stood there, watching him with cautious curiosity.

Gojo stretched his arms.

Then rolled his shoulders.

Then, as if he was about to fight Sukuna himself, he raised his hands and took a dramatic stance.

"Aaah—!"

Miku's eyes widened.

"Eh—?!"

Gojo's long leg shot out.

A clean horizontal kick, hitting the Venting machine.

BANG!

The vending machine shook violently.

The sound was loud enough that a few students passing by turned their heads.

The machine trembled twice.

Then—

clunk… clunk…

Two bottles fell down into the pickup slot.

Miku stared.

Then her eyes sparkled like she'd just witnessed a miracle.

"Amazing…!"

She clapped softly, her expression full of admiration.

Gojo pulled his leg back with the proud aura of a martial arts master.

"Heh."

He bent down and picked up the two bottles with his fingers. Then he turned around and handed them to Miku.

Miku reached out—

But she only took one.

Then she shook her head lightly.

"This one… is for you."

Gojo paused.

"For me?"

Miku nodded.

"Yes. You helped me, so… it's a reward and I can't drink two anyway."

Gojo stared at her for a moment.

Then he smiled.

"Thank you then."

Without the slightest pretense, Gojo Satoru unscrewed the bottle cap and drank it.

The taste spread in his mouth.

Matcha.

Not bad.

Not bad at all.

He re-screwed the cap and casually knocked on the vending machine as if he was teaching it something important.

"Let me tell you something. This vending machine is the kind that needs to be beaten. If it swallows up your money, kick it once."

"If it doesn't work…"

"Kick it again. As long as you keep kicking it, it'll eventually give in."

Miku nodded seriously.

She looked like she was receiving sacred knowledge.

Although there are many vending machines in the school, each vending machine sells different types of beverages. The only one that have drinks like matcha and green tea is this machine.

"I understand…"

Gojo's lips twitched.

Then he asked, as if it was casual—

"By the way… I don't know your name yet...Nino's sister."

Gojo Satoru asked intentionally.

Although he knew the girl's name and details very well, he still had to ask on purpose.

Miku blinked.

"Huh? Have I not introduced myself?"

Gojo shook his head.

"Nope."

Miku touched her chin in confusion.

"…That's strange. I thought I did."

Gojo sighed dramatically.

"You didn't."

Miku immediately bowed slightly.

"Then… my name is Nakano Miku. Please take care of me."

Gojo nodded.

"Gojo Satoru. Just call me Gojo-sensei in school."

Miku's lips curved slightly—A very small smile.

But it was definitely a smile.

"Thank you, Gojo-sensei."

Gojo stared.

"Alright. Then I'm going to sleep now."

Miku blinked again.

"…Sleep?"

Gojo pointed forward.

"Yes."

"I'm a teacher."

"So I have the right to be lazy."

Miku didn't know what to say.

In the end, she simply nodded.

"Goodbye."

Gojo waved back.

"Bye."

Miku turned and walked away.

She had come out under the excuse of "going to the restroom" to buy a drink, so she had to return quickly.

But as she walked, she couldn't help stopping after a few steps.

She looked back.

Gojo Satoru was walking in the opposite direction, hands in his pockets, tall and relaxed.

His white hair stood out brightly under the sunlight.

Miku stared quietly.

Then she thought—

"Gojo Satoru…"

"Umaru Gojo…"

"What is the relationship between them?"

She had heard that name before.

A student named Umaru Gojo.

The name sounded similar.

Too similar.

Her brain started forming guesses.

"…Are they siblings?"

"…Or cousins?"

"…Or… something else?"

Miku's expression turned serious.

She wasn't the type to gossip.

But when it involved her sisters—

Especially Nino—

She couldn't help being curious.

.....

On the other side.

Gojo Satoru wandered around for a while longer.

He searched.

And searched.

And searched.

But no matter how he looked, he couldn't find a perfect sleeping spot.

He considered the rooftop.

Too windy.

He considered the library.

Too quiet—he might accidentally snore and get kicked out.

He considered the gym storage room.

Too many suspicious smells.

In the end—

He had no choice.

He went to the gazebo.

It was the same old gazebo on campus, where students usually ate lunch or chatted.

Gojo walked in, looked around, and saw that no one was there.

Perfect.

He lay down on the wide bench.

Then, as if he had prepared for this exact moment, he pulled out a small pillow from somewhere and placed it behind his head.

Miku would've fainted if she saw this.

Who carries a pillow to school?

Gojo Satoru.

That's who.

He let out a satisfied sigh.

"Ah~~~"

"This is the feeling."

Then he closed his eyes.

His eyelids trembled slightly.

The sunlight filtered through the gazebo roof.

The breeze blew gently.

And within only a few seconds—

Gojo fell asleep.

Completely.

Like a cat.

The spring wind blew from time to time, brushing through his white hair and lightly touching his face.

If someone took a photo right now…

They could probably win first prize in the school photography contest.

But unfortunately—

Sobu High School was not a peaceful place.

Well, not in this mixed world.

And also—

Not when Gojo Satoru existed.

Because trouble always loved him.

Even if he was asleep.

(And especially when he was asleep.)
