Anthony's expression turned serious. He cried out "Your Majesty" a few more times, but Arthur didn't even turn around. He now understood that Maxwell had a more important position than he did inside Arthur's heart. It couldn't be changed even if he were an in-law to the king.

Maxwell's influence on the Evans Kingdom was much stronger than Anthony's.
Anthony was merely a head supervisor of the civil ministers, and any random person could be promoted in the Minister's Court to replace him. This world was ruled by martial might, and he wasn't like some Saint rank expert.
