Bado stood bewildered in the midst of chaos.
No sky, no ground, no up or down, no near or far, only boundless chaos surrounding him.
"Where... is this?"
He reached out his hand and his fingers sank into the chaos, the sensation sticky, like slipping into semi-dry mud, an indescribable resistance with a hint of warmth.
"What is this stuff?"
He didn't know what he was doing or what he should do, but his hands instinctively plunged into the chaos, stirring it, as if trying to find something in this sticky mess.
Suddenly, his fingertips touched something.
The next moment, the chaos receded, the sticky feeling disappeared, replaced by a dimly lit room.
And in the center of the room stood a half-demon!
Bado's body was faster than his mind, his center of gravity dropped, fists clenched, taking a fighting stance.
But the half-demon did not move, didn't even look at Bado.
Curiously, Bado tried stepping forward, and a wondrous scene unfolded!
