The closer they looked into each other's eyes, the darkness around them seemed to envelope. It made her feel as though she could finally see Hades apart from all the status he owns. She gulped, her throat dry from the nervousness as she questioned whether he would see it, whether he could... see loving her as a possibility.
"Is it dangerous..." she whispered as though the two of them were hidden in a closet. Such an intimate moment and yet her brain had froze, unable to form a word that would sound pretty, "Is it dangerous because... you don't want to?"
"I don't understand it, angel," Hades told her. His honesty was what touched her as at that moment, his glittery eyes seems to be showing her something she wanted to see. "I don't have that sort of emotions."
And right at that moment bright light appeared from behind him.
