"W- Who are you?" The startled Somnus stuttered as he looked up to find Morningstar, the man whose half of his face was covered with a porcelain mask.
But perhaps it wasn't the wound that scared him. As someone who had gone to war, Somnus had seen worse. He had seen innards being ripped apart or limbs being torn as if it was paper. He had seen soldiers lose half their bodies and continue crawling across the battlefield until they finally bled out. Everything that was bloody and gory for those who were weak stomached, Somnus managed to endure it all.
And yet... this man's face frightened him like never before. Not because he had a face that was scary per se, but because his face looked exactly like Hades.
The resemblance was so uncanny that for a moment his mind struggled to separate the two. Had he not seen Morningstar standing there with his own eyes, he might have truly believed that Hades had somehow appeared before him.
"H- Hades?"
