Maeve couldn't believe her eyes. The last person she wanted to see in this world was standing right in front of her, and she was without Lucifurr. Her vision blurred as she stared at Clayton.
"W... What are you doing here?" She quickly wiped her tears.
"Come with me Eve." Came Clayton's cold word. He had wanted to punish her, what he never expected was to see her in this pitiful condition by the side of the road.
What the hell is this woman thinking?
"No." Came her blunt words.
"I... I'm not going with you. You might end up killing me if I come with you." He let out a long harsh sigh.
To Maeve, she didn't see the need to go with him, she hadn't found Lucifurr yet and if Clayton found out he was missing, he could kill her.
"Stop being stubborn and come with me." He said pressing his temples with his fingers. People had already started together. One for his flashy car and guards and the other, for the stupid scene his silly wife was creating.
