Yuki's body tensed up as she heard the voice of the door opening... she hadn't noticed the door before but her tension eased slightly as she saw who entered.
It was just a maid.
Yuki shook her head and once again looked at her mother who looked very pleased.
Without her noticing a single cold tear rolled down Yuki's cheeks, betraying emotions she couldn't fully process.
It was all very foreign and new to her. Yuki as a child had always seen her mother from afar and on a life supporting machine which kept her alive.
In her eyes she was a old, frail woman. Even when she came to Aethelburg, she found her father and her mother as well.
She was very happy... for the first time in her life she talked to her mother, but turns out her mother didn't even knew anything about Yuki. Well that was to be expected.
The problem was that her brother, Renji had been acting strange ever since. And recently he had turned too cold, he turned into a monster who murdered his own mother.
