Chapter 25 - The Dispute

Well, after seeing this side of her, I became quite a humble little child, as surely I didn't want to mess with her anymore, but she was still good towards me, so I thought I shouldn't worry about her, but to think this beauty was also capable of these sorts of things—this was pretty strange to me, but I guess I should understand that pretty things can be lethal sometimes.

So soon we came to Brother's side and called him, and Brother was still with 'Jaadu,' and as Sister-in-law told the whole matter to him, his expression started to become dark, and he began to come to my side while staring at that woman who was already in a sorry state.

Seeing us around, he forced a smile while telling the people to take him around the lawn, and the people took that lady to the lawn while my brother checked my face and spoke: "Kid, enjoy time with your sister-in-law, and better not worry about the Reaper Guild anymore!" Hearing his words, I smiled and went to Jaadu's side.

Seeing such a mess, he asked me about it. Hearing his question, I told him about it.

Hearing my words, he sighed and spoke: 'Well, misfortune can't be avoided by some people, I guess, puny mortals!'

While he was speaking, I saw that Brother was talking with the king and other guild masters. And soon hearing brother's words, they started laughing and smirking pretty nastily.

And soon the holy guild started speaking: "So, Michael, what should we do about them? Because according to the treaty, we can't attack them unless we have the sole desire of crushing them, so are you up for it?"

Hearing his words, the king spoke with firm expressions: "What are you saying, you creep? We can't do something that rash; it should be dealt with by law and justice, and I am the king, so of course I am the law and justice, so leave everything to me!"

Hearing his righteous words made me wonder if I was hearing the wrong person, but these bastards were coming back to their original forms while discussing justice and peacefulness; they were summoning their weapons while the king was summoning his royal ancestral weapons, and seeing this behavior, no one was even acting surprised, neither his woman nor anyone around him!

Seeing it, they all were looking more excited about attacking than taking revenge for my assassination, while soon the king called his servants and ordered them, "Send a summons to the Reaper guild to gather at the Darkness guild's office; the king wants to discuss some things, and the date of this summons should be next morning. If they fail to appear tomorrow, it will be considered an act of treason or terrorism, and they will be charged with the charges of national traitors."

As they received these orders, the servants quickly vanished in thin air, while all these creeps began to drink and gather their weapons and forces.

They surely were more excited for war than I was, and it was clear from their behavior that they were laughing while thinking about slaughter.

Soon the battlefield will be colored red, and the corpses will start to appear on the ground. Souls will be breaking in agony while the powerful will again crush the weak under his feet, but why do I care?

But if things started to become more of a mess, I or Jaadu might step in and stop the dispute, but this thing could clearly crush my proposal of my exploration to elven land.

So, I quickly came to my brother's side and gave him an innocent look while he gave me a nasty look and spoke: "Listen, you creep, Onam, the things are about to get pretty rough here, and I am seeing that nasty smirk on your face, so I wish for you to take Ashoka with you and have your puny exploration while we clean the pests from here as you go and have a look at that beautiful land, and damn, those juicy elves surely make me want to visit them, but your sister-in-law will kick my ass, so I won't be accompanying you!

But show our guild's card, and you will be treated as a king. And better give that bastard king a punch and tell him that Michael will kick his ass for not visiting him!

I will also tell Ashoka to remind that bastard who this father is."

Hearing his words, I started to feel pretty awesome, as my plan was clearly a big success, and surely my exploration wasn't affected by this stupid war.

So now I could go to elves.

Now I gave him cheerful expressions while speaking: "Hey, brother, sure! I will be exploring the forests, while you will be exploring sister-in-law. Nice plan!"

Hearing my playful words, he smiled with a nasty grin, and after joking around with him for some time, I went to my room with Jaadu.

And as we entered the room, I asked Jaadu, "So hey, tell me, are you coming with me, or are you planning on staying behind?"

Hearing my question, he sighed and replied after thinking, "Soyankar, I was thinking about helping your brother; as for the elven forest, you can pay a visit to them."

Hearing these sensible talks, I was pretty much shocked and couldn't even think that this was the same guy; just a few moments before, he was about to annihilate everything in his way of resurrection.

Seeing such a change was unbelievable; just what did Michael do to him? It can't be anything less than a miracle.

I thought for a few moments and spoke: "Hey, if you promise me that you won't create chaos, then I might let you stay behind, but if you still have fancy thoughts, then it's better to tell me now; I will take you with me."

Hearing this precious offer, he started to look at me in a sketchy manner as he spoke. "Say what the catch is in your deal; I clearly know that neither race gives anything for free. So tell me, what do you want?"

Hearing these words, I felt amusement and a kind of embarrassment about the things I did to make him submit to me. But there was no way this creep could be tamed with normal means, so I was ready to go to any lengths to tame him under me.

But I spoke in a firm manner: "I have a pretty bad feeling that this world is about to start its war between good and evil, and many heroes will soon be emerging, and it might join the war, so protect every person on our side."

Upon hearing that I was worried about him, he started to feel a strange feeling, as he promised to not create chaos, and of course he couldn't lie to me because of the soul contract, so I released his seal by 100 M.
