While I was sitting on Viktor's lap, resting my head on his shoulder, he kept gently patting my back.
So much time had passed, and we had done it so many times that I genuinely lost count.
"Viktor, let's go back. They must be waiting for us," I murmured.
Viktor helped me put my clothes on, and once we were dressed, we headed back. I was so exhausted that I could barely walk.
That's why I held onto Viktor's arm. When we reached the campsite, I saw that the barbecue was almost ready, and the kids had already woken up.
"Dad, where did you go? I was worried about you," Nico said as he hugged my legs.
Viktor picked Nico up. "Little dummy, we just went for a walk. It was something for adults only, so kids aren't allowed."
Nico looked so confused—I could tell just from his expression. "Viktor, I'm also an adult! I'll go with you both next time."
