"Can you pass me a tool, Miss Stone?" Danzel asked, looking directly at her.
"U-Umm… sure, Mr. Knight. Which one do you want?" She asked, carefully approaching the table at the side where various tools were neatly arranged.
"Hand me that one.... with the red handle."
He described the tool instead of naming it, and Coral felt a relief because she had no idea what any of the tools were called.
She quickly picked up the one he had described and handed it to him. She didn't dare stare at him, but she couldn't help noticing he was dressed casually. He wasn't wearing a shirt, just a T-shirt, and there were smudges of dirt on him.
Danzel took the tool from her and slid back under the car, resuming his work. Coral stood there in silence, utterly confused.
Was he repairing his car himself? It wasn't even the car he usually drove to the office.
She stayed where she was, unsure of what to do. After a while, Danzel's voice rang out from beneath the car.
"Can you bring me a coffee?"
