Even though the previous night had been a complete disaster for Yuzu, she woke up the next morning feeling surprisingly determined. It was Sunday. According to Filip, all employees in Niky's mansion were free to go anywhere they wished because it was their weekly day off.
Yuzu hadn't received her first paycheck yet. So if she wanted to go out and search for information, she would have to rely solely on herself. She took a deep breath as she stared at her reflection in the mirror. Even though she had chosen the plainest outfit she could find, clothes from Niky still looked expensive on her tiny frame.

Every time Yeva visited, she helped Yuzu learn Russian a bit at a time. Yuzu could now understand basic phrases. Armed with that knowledge, she was determined to begin the search for her twin sister in this vast, unfamiliar country.
