Chapter 78 - Chapter 76 Strip the loot

Ares drove his chariot to the dying Titan Typhon and looked up at him.

The once arrogant Father of All Demons had now been defeated by Zeus, who wielded divine lightning. Just as Hecate had prophesied, Typhon, this device to suppress the King of Gods, could not defeat Zeus before he completely lost his qualification as the King of Gods.

At present, he was unable to fight in front of Zeus, who wielded divine lightning. Although his immortality was strong, it required physical exertion to maintain. Moreover, he had no effective means of attack when facing the God of Thunder, who was skilled at flying in the sky.

If it were a complete Typhon, he would undoubtedly have been strengthened by Gaia to the point of being able to defeat Zeus. However, according to Prometheus's prophecy, there was no place for this Father of All Demons in the future.

Because a Spartan Ghost, more terrifying and powerful than him, would replace him and destroy everything in the Greek Pantheon.

Typhon, at present, would probably only be suppressed under Mount Etna in Sicily, and then, with the fading of the age of gods, be swept into the Inner Sea of Stars, or simply perish.

But then again...

Since he had come all this way, Typhon was, after all, the Father of All Demons, who had birthed so many terrifying monsters, even those capable of threatening the main gods. And he was Gaia's last independently birthed Titan, so he must have great research value.

Looking at such a large, dying, and powerless Titan lying before him, Ares felt he would be at a great loss if he didn't take something from him.

So Ares directly connected his main body remotely with the Moon Goddess Hecate in the Underworld. Upon hearing Ares's request, Hecate naturally would not refuse. The Moon Goddess had wanted to study the physical structure of the Titans for a long time, but in the past, the Titans were world rulers, and she dared not act against them. Now, the Titans were imprisoned deep in Tartarus, Zeus's prisoners, guarded by the Furies, Hecatoncheires, and the King of the Underworld, so she couldn't act either.

But now, her good disciple Ares had obtained an opportunity to "extract materials" from Typhon, the strongest Titan. Hecate couldn't help but praise Ares more, truly a clever one who knew how to exploit loopholes.

Thus, after connecting with Hecate, Ares, on his end, used divine power to move nearby broken rocks, constructing a layer of mountains around Typhon to conceal him. At the same time, he raised his Flame Sword and, following Hecate's instructions, cut and sliced at Typhon's body, preserving the pieces with magic.

Anyway, Typhon was protected by Gaia at this point and would not die. Moreover, due to exhaustion, he had fallen into a comatose state. No matter how Ares cut and sliced at him, he would not die. Therefore, the God of War's actions became much bolder. He even entered Typhon's body, obtaining a part of what should be Typhon's core, scorching molten rock, as well as tissues from various organs within Typhon.

After finishing these tasks, Ares threw them all into the teleportation portal opened by Hecate. It was not the first time the master and disciple had cooperated in this way; they were both skilled and moved quickly. After all of Typhon's tissues were transported to Hecate's Garden, the Moon Goddess, without another word, hung an "Out of Office" sign at her door and plunged into her secret laboratory.

She also had her dignity and temper. Last time, she spent a long time trying to analyze the core of the yusei Starship but couldn't. But this time, she didn't believe she couldn't understand even Gaia's creation.

Ares was not afraid of what would happen if Hecate couldn't analyze it. Anyway, he had already gained control of the "Magic Supercomputer" in Tartarus through the black crystal. At worst, he would just let the device that had finished analyzing the Starship analyze Typhon later.

After extracting Typhon's essence, Ares used divine power to gather mountains, trapping the now useless Typhon within them. Then he took scorching molten rock and poured it into the mountains, transforming them into a volcano, suppressing Typhon.

Although this seal was somewhat childish for the Father of All Demons, Ares had no intention of reinforcing it with magic. In Zeus's mind, he was currently a simple-minded, hot-tempered, disobedient yet exceptionally loyal foolish son to his old father. Using magic would only expose himself.

Anyway, if the King of Gods thought the seal was unreliable, he would certainly send others to reinforce it, and Ares didn't want to get involved in that mess.

Having completed the work Zeus assigned him, he had his divine power clone drive the chariot back to Olympus, while his own attention refocused on the "Cadmus" clone.

...

After returning Zeus's tendons, which had been tampered with by Typhon, Cadmus immediately turned and fled, rushing back to the camp where his servants were.

He had been missing for about a day, which made his accompanying servants and soldiers extremely nervous. Although King Agenor of the Phoenician Kingdom had said that Cadmus didn't need to return if he couldn't find Europa, Cadmus was still a Prince of the Phoenician Kingdom. If the Prince went missing, then every single one of their servants would be in trouble.

Moreover, soon after Cadmus left, the world began to change. They could see terrifying giants whose height pierced the clouds, battling the lightning in the sky, which made the servants even more worried.

Fortunately, just as the servants were scattered, trying to find Cadmus, Ares, using his "Cadmus" alias, returned to the camp, covered in dust.

Seeing him, the servants all breathed a sigh of relief. They quickly gathered around and asked Ares:

"Your Royal Highness, where did you go?"

"I went to help the gods fight that monster."

Ares did not conceal it, directly telling the servants what this clone had done with Zeus earlier. At the same time, he pointed to the towering Typhon giant in the distance and said:

"Look! Zeus has already grasped the lightning in his hands; that giant is about to be defeated. Let's find a place to hide so we don't get caught in the crossfire."

The Heroes looked up at the terrifying, apocalyptic scene in the distance and then all agreed with Ares's suggestion. Thus, under Ares's leadership, a group of servants ran back into Typhon's cave, pulling off a cuckoo's nest trick.

There was no other way; within hundreds of miles, this cave was the safest, and Hydra had previously been driven away by him and Athena working together, so she shouldn't dare to return here for a while.

Ares led the group and stayed hidden in the cave for two days. Only when his divine power clone saw Zeus completely defeat Typhon did he lead the group out and continue on their journey.
