The so-called righteousness is having unwavering faith in one's own beliefs.
Eren had to validate this world through his own methods. No one in this reality would offer him comfort or salvation. Now that Luffy had arrived here, it was already too late to change anything.
"Are you going to transform into a titan again?" Luffy asked, watching the golden arcs of electricity beginning to dance across Eren's body. He'd witnessed this phenomenon multiple times on Drum Island, but that power had only produced a twenty-meter-tall Attack Titan. While impressive enough to dominate the first half of the Grand Line, here in the New World such strength was insufficient. A giant without Haki was nothing more than a massive target.
"Luffy," Eren's voice carried a finality that chilled the air around them. "This time is different. I will not stop until I have eradicated everything that stains this world."
The violent golden lightning that erupted from his transformation pierced through the palace like a mountain splitting in half. The scale of electrical discharge was over a thousand times larger than anything they'd witnessed before—this wasn't just a titan transformation, it was something approaching the realm of ancient weapons.
The first thing to emerge from the billowing white steam was a massive skull bearing Eren's features. The head alone was large enough to dwarf entire buildings, making Doflamingo's imposing three-meter frame seem like an ant beside a mountain. The royal palace's main structure couldn't even contain a fraction of this colossal form.
"Something's wrong, Straw Hat-ya!" Law's voice cracked with panic as realization dawned. "The titan Eren transformed into before wasn't anywhere near this massive. He's about to unleash Terra's true power—you have to stop him now!"
Luffy had been momentarily mesmerized by the sheer scale of the giant manifesting before them, but Law's warning snapped him back to action. His body moved instinctively, arms inflating as he activated Gear Third to its maximum potential.
"Gomu Gomu no Gigant Pistol!" (Gum-Gum Giant Pistol!)
Just as his enormous fists, wrapped in crackling Armament Haki, were about to strike Eren's emerging head, a pink figure flashed between them with supernatural speed.
"Fufufufu! We've reached the climax, Straw Hat Luffy," Doflamingo's grin was manic as he intercepted the attack. "I can't let you ruin the show when things are getting interesting."
The Heavenly Yaksha caught Luffy's massive fists with his bare hands—no Armament Haki coating, just raw physical strength enhanced by his string powers. In the contest of pure force, the Straw Hat captain found himself completely unable to advance. He'd gravely underestimated this Shichibukai.
"You've gotten overconfident from dealing with those small-time Warlords, haven't you?" Doflamingo's voice dripped with condescension as he held Luffy's attack in place. "Time to get out of my palace!"
Without releasing Luffy's fists, Doflamingo drew back his right leg and coated it in a dense layer of Armament Haki. The kick that followed was delivered with surgical precision to Luffy's most vulnerable point.
The impact against his rubber stomach sent waves of agony through Luffy's body as the Haki-infused attack bypassed his natural immunity to blunt force. The terrifying power launched the Straw Hat captain like a cannonball, his body smashing through the palace's thick stone walls before disappearing into the distance. Doflamingo couldn't care less where he landed.
"Law," the Warlord turned to the battered Heart Pirates captain with predatory satisfaction. "Come with me to witness the Terra's power to overthrow this world."
Pink threads infused with Conqueror's Haki erupted from Doflamingo's fingers, binding Trafalgar Law so tightly that he couldn't even attempt to create a Room. The advanced Haki made resistance impossible.
"Do you want to die along with everyone else in the world?" Law gasped through gritted teeth.
"Don't you think this is absolutely fascinating?" Doflamingo's laugh was pure madness.
As Law watched in horror, Eren's transformation finally reached completion. The golden lightning that had been streaking across the sky for several minutes finally ceased, replaced by a terrifying shadow emerging from the white steam—something so massive that the entire palace couldn't hope to contain it.
In the flower field sanctuary on the King's Plateau, sisters Elsa and Anna had been tending to their sunflowers when darkness suddenly blotted out the sun. The five-year-old Elsa looked up with confusion.
"Has the sun already set?" she wondered aloud.
When both girls raised their heads, the sight that greeted them was beyond anything their young minds could process. Colossal white ribs pierced the sky like the skeleton of some primordial god, and the entire highland was shrouded in its impossible shadow.
When this creature moved, the very earth trembled. Each subtle shift sent shockwaves through the ground, causing landslides and filling the air with choking dust. A titan's head floated in the heavens above, directing this monster that transcended all human understanding.
"It's Eren... it can't be Eren," Elsa whispered, recognizing the features of the giant skull despite its impossible scale. Fear overriding her usual haughtiness, she grabbed her sister Anna's hand and dragged the terrified girl toward home, desperately seeking their mother's protection.
Doflamingo used his strings to hook onto the massive ribs, pulling himself and the helpless Law up to the summit of the creature. The view from atop the Founding Titan was breathtaking in its terrible majesty.
"Terra truly deserves its designation as an ancient weapon," Doflamingo mused, standing on what felt like an endless bone plain. "To think Eren could become this enormous."
The titan's spine beneath their feet was like standing on a vast continent. A dozen pirate ships could sail side by side across its width without feeling crowded.
Law swallowed hard, his medical mind automatically trying to estimate the creature's dimensions. This form had to be at least ten thousand meters in length and height—possibly more. From this altitude, the buildings of Dressrosa below looked like scattered grains of sand. No words existed to adequately describe such immensity.
"Even at this size, he's just a massive target," Law said, clinging to desperate hope. "You don't seriously think this skeleton can withstand an Admiral's assault, do you? Admiral Smoker won't let something like this leave Dressrosa."
Doflamingo spread his arms wide, embracing the howling winds as he pronounced judgment on the world below. "Law, that's where your understanding falls short. Let me show you the true power of the Rumbling."
Countless points of golden light began flashing from the ground far below. The Pure Titans and Abnormal Titans that had been created during the music festival massacre were responding to the Founding Titan's influence. Their bodies began expanding and growing, evolving into the final form needed for the Rumbling—one hundred-meter Colossal Titans.
By the time the survivors of Dressrosa noticed the ten-thousand-meter monster looming overhead, escape was already impossible.
"What did we do to deserve this?" a woman cried, clutching her child. "We just survived the first wave of giants!"
"Mama, are we going to die?" the child whimpered.
A massive arm erupted from the ground beneath them, the shockwave alone sending mother and daughter flying through the air. A hundred-meter titan clawed its way to the surface, steam rising from its exposed musculature. This scene was repeating across every inch of Dressrosa's landscape.
Uncle B, the fearless berserker who had protected the slums during the initial massacre, could only abandon his broader rescue efforts. Scooping up Illya and Bellhill, he began a desperate sprint toward the coast. Behind them, titan after titan burst from the earth—the smaller giants he'd previously battled now transformed into true Colossal Titans under the Founding Titan's influence.
From her perch in Uncle B's arms, Illya witnessed a scene that could only be described as hell itself. Countless giants trampled across the island, each footstep leaving craters the size of city blocks. Buildings, trees, people—everything was equally fragile before such overwhelming scale, crumbling to dust at the slightest contact.
The silver-haired girl watched in horror as fleeing humans were overtaken by the titans' massive strides. One step from a giant covered the distance of a hundred human paces. Some people were crushed by falling debris from destroyed buildings, others were simply stepped on like insects, reduced to crimson stains beneath titan feet.
The monster suspended ten thousand meters above was an existence that inspired only awe and terror. Its skeletal framework supported the movements of the Founding Titan while hundreds of Colossal Titans gathered in formation around it.
Eren had lifted the hardening from the entire island, freeing every person who had been transformed and stored beneath Dressrosa's surface over the years. The population that Doflamingo had been preparing finally served its ultimate purpose. Leading this army of millions of colossal giants, Eren would flatten the world and expel everything that existed upon it.
The Rumbling had begun.
