Keifer's POV:
I am so happy Jay finally woke up after fainting for almost four days. The doctor told us she is fine now but advised not to give her any stress and to take care of her.
The doctor left the room. Now, it was only me and my Jay in the room.
As I was about to say something to her, the door opened, revealing Section E carrying recovery balloons, a cake, party poppers, snacks, and ice cream.
Jay's POV:
Keifer was about to say something, but the door opened, and Section E came inside, which brought a smile to my face. Cin immediately ran towards me and hugged me tightly. Thanks to Keifer and David, they pulled him back.
Keifer: "Are you stupid? Can't you see she is hurt?"
Cin: "Sorry, I didn't do it intentionally."
Jay: "It's okay, Cin. I know you were just excited."
Cin: "Only Jay, you understand me."
I gave him a friendly hug.
Drew: "Looks like Keifer is not the only important one."
Keifer: "SHUT UP!"
Everyone started laughing; I also started laughing but stopped when I felt someone glaring at me—it was none other than Keifer.
Jay: "Stop glaring at me, crybaby. I'm not the only one laughing."
Denzel: "Looks like Jay wants a baby. Keifer, why don't you give Grazel a companion to play with?"
I saw Keifer smirking.
Jay: "SHUT UP!"
Felix: "Like husband, like wife."
Everyone laughed again. Suddenly, the door opened, and the atmosphere turned cold. My horoscope brother with Ella, of course, glaring at Section E; Percy with his mischievous smile; and at last, the devil in disguise—my cousin, the angel—though today there was worry in his eyes.
Aries: "My sister is not someone's wife."
Percy: "Baby, you should accept him. After all, our sister loves him too."
Aries: "First of all, I am not your baby, and second, she is not your sister, and third, he is not my sister's husband."
Kiya Angelo: "Shut up, both of you."
He came towards me and hugged me.
He asked, "Are you fine? Is it hurting somewhere? Tell me."
I just hugged him more tightly and said, "No, Kuya, I am alright."
Kuya: "Of course, I know my little warrior will be fine."
After asking about me and everyone, my cousin left.
Mayo: "Jay, where did you learn to fight? You are so good—you literally beat 30 men alone."
Hearing him, I remembered my past.
My past:
I was punching and kicking some boys when I was six years old. Suddenly, a few voices came from behind.
???1: "Jay, we know you are good at fighting, but that doesn't mean you will fight alone. Remember, whenever you fight, we will try together."
???2: "Jay, you literally beat most of them."
???3: "Come on now, let's beat the shit out of them!"
The fight began. Each of us was punching and kicking each other.
At last, we won.
Present:
I didn't even realize when tears started rolling from my eyes.
Keifer: "Jay, are you all right?"
Jay: "Yeah, I'm fine."
Everyone left; only Aries, Percy, and Keifer remained.
Aries: "You both go. I will stay here with her."
Percy: "No, I will stay with my sista and my baby."
Keifer: "You both go. I'm staying here. Don't you have to send Ella and Felix home?"
Both: "Fine."
Aries: "But don't you dare touch my sister."
Keifer smirked.
As they left, I patted the space on the bed.
Jay: "I know you're tired. Rest here for some time."
I was about to get up when Keifer held my hand and laid me down.
Keifer: "Jay, please don't go. Let me sleep beside you. I promise I won't do anything except kiss you."
Seeing his cute eyes, I nodded.
He rested his head on my chest. I glared at him,
but eventually, we both fell asleep in each other's arms.
