Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: The Game Begins Pawns and Predators at Yumenosaki

🎤 Finale: "Believer"

🌑 Adonis

"And I can see your smile... delighted..."

Adonis stepped forward, his voice resonating with a strength that was almost tender. No longer the Commander on the battlefield, but a friend, a leader, a believer.

"Beyond the nights when no tear's falling down... When I wished..."

"Believer..."

🌑 Rei

"Don't need creative thoughts... A perfect swap's ideal... Inside that processed heart unholiness reveals..."

Rei's crimson eyes swept across the crowd, searching for something intangible, something only he could see. He had sung this verse alone many times before, but tonight, his voice echoed like silence after a storm—deep, heavy, and absolute.

🌅 Raito

"If I were a flower... I'd simply sway when that wind goes by... Or flutter and dance... If I turned into a butterfly..."

Raito took the mic, his voice soft as the first light of dawn. He smiled—not the practiced grin of an entertainer, but the gentle expression of a boy who had finally found hope in the sunrise.

🌑 Tsuki

"And up until the very end... I wanna feel okay being wrong... Prospects and hopes held in that old vessel... That is drawn and fatigued..."

Tsuki joined in, his voice heavy yet steady, like the shadows that guard the night. He sang for himself now—not out of duty, but because he still believed in the future, even when the light flickered low.

🌑 Kaoru

"Not enough, come and show me love... Exhaust all of your feelings... The need to show someone missing it all... The need to get it too."

Kaoru's voice was cold, like frost covering flowers in moonlight, yet there was a warmth beneath the ice. He wasn't just singing to the audience; he was singing to his own reflection.

🌑 Adonis

"That is why you can't settle... I'm your Believer... Let's close our hearts, no gateway... As everything is now flowing away... Regrets remain throughout your spirit..."

Adonis sang with fierce determination, acknowledging the regrets of the past while choosing to move forward.

🌅 Koga

"While in the dream I was shedding my tears... And wishing believer..."

"Believer..."

Koga's voice was rough and raw, emotions held back for years finally breaking free like a rushing river.

🌅🌑 Polar Opposites

"Even if I fall apart or get broken countless times... Despite it all... I know for sure I'll keep on standing and endure..."

Their voices blended perfectly—sunlight piercing through heavy clouds. It was a promise, a vow to keep walking, even when the world tried to push them down.

🌑 Kaoru & Adonis

"Not enough, someone show me love... And count every life thereof... Now tell me 'bout this love... Exhaust all words you could say... Exhaust all your feelings away..."

Their voices intertwined like a heartbeat in the night. It was a cry for understanding, a declaration that they were alive and feeling everything.

🌑 Rei

"Tell me, oh tell me 'bout this love... Exhaust all words you could say... The need to teach someone missing the light..."

Rei stepped forward, his voice gentle but laced with ancient pain. He sang for the world, for those who were lost, and for the part of himself that remembered what it felt like to be hopeless.

🌅 Koga

"The need to live it too... For that reason, for the sight... I'm your Believer"

Koga's voice soared, filled with the conviction of one who has struggled, doubted, and still chose to believe.

🌑🌄 ALL

"Let's keep our hearts connected... As everything has sparked and ignited... And I can see your smile, delighted... Beyond the nights I wanted to cry is..."

"Where I met you... and I prayed... Believer"

The song ended. The arena erupted. Cheers shook the foundations.

UNDEAD and Polar Opposites stood side by side, breathing hard, sweat gleaming under the lights.

Raito was crying, bright tears streaming down his face as he looked at Tsuki.

"We did it... we really did it!"

Tsuki didn't speak. He simply reached out and squeezed Raito's hand tightly, standing shoulder to shoulder with their seniors, their idols, their family.

They were no longer just performers.

They were Believers.

👁️ The Observer

Far above, in the private viewing box, FINE watched.

Eichi Tenshouin smiled—not his usual political mask, but something almost nostalgic. Wataru Hibiki stood beside him, eyes sparkling with genuine amazement. Tori Himemiya recorded everything on his phone, and Yuzuru Fushimi stood guard, his expression cool but approving.

"It seems we have found some hidden gems, Wataru," Eichi murmured, his eyes never leaving the stage.

"Indeed!" Wataru grinned. "Their unity is magnificent! It is as if they have discovered a gravity all their own. Truly inspiring!"

Tori lowered his phone, raising an eyebrow. "Eichi... you're plotting something, aren't you?"

Eichi chuckled softly. "Can't a former Student Council President simply appreciate genuine talent?"

"Spare us the act," Yuzuru huffed. "We know you too well."

Eichi's gaze returned to Tsuki and Raito. His eyes gleamed with calculation, but not malice.

"Talent without direction is like a star with no sky to shine in," he whispered. "Someone must guide them."

Suddenly, on stage, Tsuki shivered violently. Raito rubbed his arms, looking pale.

"Hm?" Wataru frowned. "Are they unwell?"

"Or perhaps..." Yuzuru smirked slightly. "...They are simply sensitive to the presence of predators."

Eichi met Yuzuru's gaze. "Interesting, isn't it? They sense opportunity... and danger."

"They look frightened," Wataru noted, concerned.

"Fear is just the body preparing for greatness," Eichi replied smoothly. "Or perhaps... they simply feel my gaze."

⚔️ Warning Shots

Backstage, the atmosphere shifted instantly.

"Are you alright?" Kaoru asked, noticing their pallor.

"It's... cold," Raito whispered. "Like someone is looking right through us."

"Like a predator hiding in the dark," Tsuki added, his voice low.

Rei said nothing. He pulled out his phone, his fingers moving swiftly across the screen.

[Message sent to: ???]

"Stop watching them like prey. They are not yours to claim."

He pocketed the device.

Adonis looked at him. "...Tenshouin?"

Rei adjusted his glasses. "He is always watching. But tonight... he has decided to show himself."

🎖️ The Approval

Before the tension could rise, the praise came—rare and genuine from the veterans.

Adonis nodded firmly. "Your performance was honest. That requires strength."

"You did not merely sing the notes," Rei said quietly. "You lived them. That is what makes an idol."

"Not bad, rookies!" Koga laughed, clapping Raito on the back hard enough to make him stumble. "You've got fire—and heart!"

Kaoru crossed his arms, a soft smirk on his face. "You stood your ground even when it hurt. I respect that."

Tsuki blinked, surprised by the sincerity. Raito wiped his eyes, beaming.

"Thank you so much—!"

"OI! DON'T GET TOO COZY OVER THERE!"

The voice cut through the air. Everyone turned.

Standing in the doorway were Wataru and Tori, with Eichi and Yuzuru just behind them.

"We were just passing by!" Wataru waved cheerfully. "Totally not spying or anything!"

Eichi stepped forward, hands in his pockets, radiating an aura of calm authority.

"Bravo."

He clapped slowly. Clap. Clap. Clap.

"The harmony between darkness and light tonight was... captivating."

Tsuki tensed up completely. Raito shivered again.

Eichi smiled wider—a smile that promised both salvation and ruin.

🏫 The Day After

The next morning, Yumenosaki was buzzing.

"Did you see Polar Opposites?"

"They were incredible!"

"They're going to be huge!"

Tsuki and Raito walked through the halls, trying to ignore the stares, but the feeling of being watched hadn't faded.

"I need fresh air," Tsuki muttered. "Let's eat outside."

They sat on a bench, but the peace didn't last.

"Yo~! Raito! Tsuki!"

Mao Isara of Trickstar bounded over, energy radiating from him.

"You guys are viral! The whole school is talking! Performing with UNDEAD? That's legendary status right there!"

Raito perked up. "Really? We are?"

Tsuki didn't smile. He was staring past Mao.

At the end of the hallway stood Eichi Tenshouin.

He wasn't doing anything. Just watching. Wataru was beside him, trying to pull him away.

And then... Eichi raised his hand.

A small wave.

A greeting.

Or a claim.

⚡🖤

"You're shaking," Mao said quietly, noticing Tsuki's hands.

"It's him," Tsuki whispered. "Tenshouin."

Mao's expression hardened. The playful vibe vanished, replaced by the seriousness of a leader.

"Listen to me. Eichi Tenshouin doesn't look at people unless he wants something. If he's focusing on you two... it means one of two things."

Mao leaned in, voice low and urgent.

"Either you are about to be given a huge opportunity... or you are being set up as pawns in his next game."

Raito swallowed hard. Tsuki clenched his fists.

The chill wasn't from the air conditioning anymore.

It was dread.

🕸️ The Web

That evening, as club activities ended, Koga stopped them.

"You two... be careful. Tenshouin is not someone you want to mess with."

"We know," Tsuki said. "He just... stares."

"He's planning," Koga grimaced. "He always is."

Nearby, the Aoi Twins—Hinata and Yuta—approached. They exchanged a silent look with Koga. A nod was all that was needed.

The message was clear:

We are watching too.

📱 [Group Chat - All Units]

Hinata: "Keep an eye on Raito and Tsuki. Tenshouin's game has started."

Yuta: "And we are not letting him win."

Trickstar: "Got it! We'll protect them!"

Knights: "This is unacceptable. We shall keep watch."

AKATSUKI: "We will not allow disorder."

Ra*bits: "We'll help however we can! 🐰"

2wink: "No one touches our juniors."

Valkyrie: "We shall observe... and intervene if necessary."

🚗 The Offer

As Raito and Tsuki exited the school gates, they froze.

Parked by the curb was a sleek, black car. Standing beside it was Eichi, with Wataru, Tori, and Yuzuru.

"Raito. Tsuki."

Eichi's voice was smooth as silk, sharp as steel.

"You've caused quite a stir. Even outside the academy, people are talking about you."

"Really?" Raito laughed nervously. "We didn't mean to..."

"Oh, but you should," Eichi interrupted gently. "Talent like yours should not remain in the shadows."

His eyes narrowed slightly, the atmosphere pressing down on them.

"Doors are opening for you now. But remember... not all doors lead to safety. Some... lead straight into the fire."

"EICHI!" Wataru cried out. "You're phrasing it wrong again!"

"You're scaring them!" Tori groaned.

Eichi ignored them, gesturing to the car door. The window was tinted black, impossible to see inside.

"Get in."

It wasn't a request. It was a destiny.

🚗 Inside the Machine

The doors clicked shut. Silence.

Raito and Tsuki sat side by side, hands clasped so tight their knuckles turned white. Across from them sat the members of FINE, like royalty observing new subjects.

"Don't look so scared!" Wataru tried to lighten the mood. "We just want to talk!"

"Last time you said that," Tori mumbled, "someone ended up transferring schools."

Yuzuru said nothing, just watched the city pass by.

Eichi leaned forward, elbows on his knees. His voice dropped to a whisper that filled the entire space.

"You two do not belong on small stages."

He smiled—a smile that held the weight of the world.

"You were born for something bigger."

Raito opened his mouth, but no words came out. Tsuki looked down at their joined hands.

Was this danger?

Or was this salvation?

Either way... the choice was no longer theirs.

The game had begun.
