Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: The Weight of Fame and Price of Truth

While the world was still buzzing from Raito's blinding energy, the screen suddenly dimmed. The golden light faded, replaced by deep blues, silvers, and shadows.

It was time.

🎬 MV PREMIERE: TSUKI KUROI — "THE OTHER SIDE"

[Intro]

Soft, rhythmic beats pulse like a heartbeat in the dark.

The screen flickers to life.

[Verse 1]

"Sitting here with my head in my hands"

The scene opens in a dimly lit music room.

Tsuki is seated at a grand piano, though the lid is closed, serving as his desk.

His elbows rest on the surface, and he buries his face gently into his palms, fingers threading through his own dark hair.

His expression is calm, almost blank, but his eyes hold a thousand thoughts.

"Ideas that come and go"

He lifts his head slightly, pen in hand.

His fingers move gracefully across the paper, writing quickly, precisely.

The camera focuses on his hands—elegant, steady, capturing the flow of creativity.

"Writing my heart out, nothing will turn out"

He pauses. The pen hovers mid-air.

He tilts his head slightly to the side, looking at what he wrote, a flicker of dissatisfaction crossing his usually stoic face.

"Everything seems so-so"

He sets the pen down.

He brings one hand up, tracing the line of his own jaw, then resting his index finger lightly against his lips.

A pose of deep contemplation. Silent. Beautiful. Cold.

[Pre-Chorus 1]

"I've been here before, and I know that I can"

He stands up abruptly.

The movement is smooth, fluid, like water. He pushes the chair back and takes a step forward, away from the desk.

"Do it if I try But why, oh, why"

He looks down at the scattered sheets of music.

He picks up one page, holding it up to the light, examining it like it's a precious artifact or a dangerous secret.

"Do you stumble before you fly?"

His eyes narrow slightly.

With a sharp, decisive motion, he sweeps his arm across the table.

Whoosh.

All the papers fly into the air, swirling around him like white birds, then slowly drift down to the floor.

He doesn't flinch. He just walks straight through the falling paper, toward the camera.

[Scene Change]

The room dissolves into a vast, open space. Night sky. Infinite stars.

[Chorus]

"My wheels keep turnin' (Oh, oh!)"

Tsuki walks forward, hands in his pockets initially, then bringing them out to gesture.

He points one finger upward, then spins slowly, his clothes flowing like liquid night.

"My fire's still burnin' (Oh, oh!)"

He places both hands over his own chest, right over his heart.

Pressing down firmly, as if feeling the pulse beneath the skin.

Even through the cool expression, you can feel the heat. The passion.

"'Cause right now I'm learnin' (Oh, oh!)"

He steps closer to the lens.

He tilts his head back, eyes closing for a split second, then opening—sharp and clear.

He extends his hand, palm open, inviting... or challenging.

"How to get to the other side"

He turns his back to the audience for a moment, then looks back over his shoulder.

A glance that says follow me.

"It's a game of waitin' (Hey, hey!)"

"Anticipatin' (Hey, hey!)"

"But I keep creatin' (Hey, hey!)"

The beat drops. His movements become more defined. Sharp angles.

He crosses his arms over his chest, then unfolds them like a blooming flower.

He strikes a final pose for the line:

"So I can get to the other... Get to the other side"

One hand raised high, fingers splayed, catching the light.

The other resting low, grounded.

Balance. Power. Serenity.

[Post-Chorus]

"(Get to the other side, hey!)"

Visual effects of gears turning behind him, representing his mind working non-stop.

He touches his own cheek, then points forward directly at the viewer.

No smile. Just pure, unwavering confidence.

[Verse 2]

"Keep on believin', I'll be achievin'"

Montage of him dancing.

His style is different from Raito's. Where Raito bounces and explodes, Tsuki flows and glides.

Every movement is calculated, perfect, mesmerizing.

"The harder that I go"

He leans forward, body parallel to the ground in a sharp move, then rises up effortlessly.

He wipes a hand across his forehead, pushing hair back, revealing his eyes fully.

"Don't really know how, I won't give up now"

He sits on the floor now, legs crossed lotus style.

He looks up toward the sky, hands resting on his knees.

Peaceful. Resolute.

"Until I steal the show"

He smirks. Just barely.

A tiny curve of the lips that sends shivers down spines.

He stands and walks into a beam of silvery light that engulfs him completely.

[Post-Chorus 2]

"With time, it gets better, I'll be a trendsetter"

"Doin' it my own way"

Quick cuts of different outfits, different angles.

He adjusts his collar. He fixes his sleeve. He bows slightly.

Every gesture is iconic. Every frame is wallpaper material.

"Hey, hey, hey!"

"Won't stop 'til I seize the day"

[Final Chorus]

"My wheels keep turnin' (Oh, oh!)"

"My fire's still burnin' (Oh, oh!)"

The music swells to an epic climax.

Tsuki is dancing with full power now, but still maintaining that icy cool aura.

"'Cause right now I'm learnin' (Oh, oh!)"

"How to get to the other side"

"It's a game of waitin' (Hey, hey!)"

"Anticipatin' (Hey, hey!)"

"But I keep creatin' (Hey, hey!)"

"So I can get to the other... Get to the other side!"

[Outro]

"(Get to the other side, hey!)"

The music fades.

Tsuki stands alone in the center of the frame.

He brings his hands together in front of his face, fingers interlacing, covering his mouth and nose, leaving only his beautiful eyes visible.

He breathes out slowly.

"Get to the other side!"

Fade to Black.

📍 Back at COSMIC Production

The screen fades to the logo.

The room is filled with the echo of the song.

Raito is practically bouncing on the sofa, unable to contain his excitement.

He turns around to where Tsuki is sitting at his own desk, wearing headphones, tapping a pen rhythmically against the wood.

"Hey Tsuki!" Raito yelled, waving his arms.

Tsuki slowly pulled one headphone cup down, letting it rest around his neck.

He looked over his shoulder, expression still calm and slightly bored.

"...Hm?"

Raito jumped up and ran over, grabbing Tsuki's shoulders.

"That was AMAZING! Oh my god! The part where you threw the papers?! And the dancing?! You were so cool!! Everyone is going crazy over it!!"

Tsuki blinked, then a tiny, almost invisible blush appeared on his cheeks, hidden quickly by him looking away.

"...It was okay."

"Okay?! It was PERFECT!" Raito beamed, then suddenly clapped his hands. "Oh right! Since the MV is a hit, we need to capitalize on it! Ibara-senpai said we should do some magazine photoshoots today! Let's go! Let's go make money and shine!"

Tsuki immediately turned his chair back around, facing his notebook and sheets of paper.

He picked up his pen again.

"No thanks."

"Ehhhhh?!" Raito whined, drawing out the sound. "Why not?! It'll be fun! And we get good food!"

Tsuki didn't look back, already starting to write new lines on the paper.

"I'll pass. I need to write lyrics first."

"Write later!! Come on Tsukiiiiiii!! Don't be such a workaholic!!" Raito started shaking his arm back and forth dramatically.

Tsuki just sighed, but didn't pull his arm away.

"...Quiet. I'm busy."

✍️🌙📝🌙☀️💫

The screen dimmed.

A single spotlight pierced the darkness—

then exploded into golden light.

Raito.

As his MV played, the lounge at COSMIC PRODUCTION fell into a breathless silence. Every eye was fixed on the screen, watching the boy who turned pain into power.

2wink sat huddled together on the sofa, hugging their knees, mesmerized.

Hinata: "He's... too bright... I feel like I'm actually melting!!"

Yuta: "No... he's real. He fights with joy... it's beautiful..."

In the back, Rinne Amagi closed his eyes, letting the rhythm wash over him, listening harder than ever.

"He sings like he's healing himself..."

HiMERU stood beside him, a slight smirk playing on his lips as he tapped away at his device.

"Data analysis confirms: Raito's vocal energy increased by 18% during the chorus. Emotion completely bypassing logical restraint again... fascinating."

But Kohaku Oukawa watched quietly from the corner, his usually sharp eyes softening with understanding.

"He wasn't singing to win... he was singing to survive."

Then—

the screen darkened once more.

The warmth faded, replaced by a cold, silvery glow.

Moonlight.

Tsuki stepped forward.

The room tensed. The air grew heavy with respect.

Ibara Saegusa crossed his arms tightly over his chest, his voice low and serious.

"He doesn't crave attention. He doesn't want pity. But still... he laid everything bare for us to see."

Jun Sazanami whispered, awe-struck:

"It's like... he wrote down all the thoughts we're too afraid to say out loud."

Nagisa Ran rested a hand over his heart, eyes closing as he felt the melody resonate within his soul.

"That silence between the verses... that loneliness... I understand it too..."

Hiyori Tomoe murmured, watching the elegant movements on screen:

"They are opposites... but together? They create perfect balance."

At the front of the room, Shu Itsuki stood up suddenly.

His posture was regal, his grace sharp as a blade.

"One burns with blinding light.

One glows through deepest shadows.

Together? They do not merely perform..."

"They transform hearts."

Mika Kagehira nodded slowly, his voice soft but firm:

"They are not just idols anymore.

They are proof that you can rise... even when no one sees you fall."

And in that quiet moment,

every member of COSMIC PRODUCTION felt it deep in their bones—

not rivalry...

but a respect so profound it almost hurt.

Because Polar Opposites didn't come to shine alone—

they came to light the way for everyone standing behind them. 💫

🌙☀️

A week later.

The impact hadn't faded. If anything, it had grown stronger.

In every agency, in every practice room, idols were whispering, analyzing, and talking about the hidden meanings woven into every beat.

Polar Opposites didn't just change the industry standards—

they changed how everyone felt about their own music.

From the streets of Tokyo to the furthest stars—

every idol, every person, spoke with one united voice:

"Polar Opposites! Let's rise together!"

🌙🌟

At COSMIC PRODUCTION, the air hummed with electricity.

It wasn't just chatter—it was pure, vibrating energy.

Every screen—

in the hallways, the lobby, the training rooms—

flashed with one blazing headline:

POLAR OPPOSITES SOLO MVs BREAK ALL RECORDS: 100 MILLION VIEWS IN 3 DAYS!

Hinata and Yuta were practically bouncing off the walls.

"Tsuki's piano part gave me actual chills down my spine!"

"No way! Raito's dance break completely destroyed me!!"

Yuta yelled, pumped full of adrenaline:

"I wanna learn both dances! Right now!"

In the corner, HiMERU sipped his tea, his glasses reflecting the data.

"Statistically speaking... it should have been impossible. Yet they achieved it. Emotional resonance surpassed algorithm predictions by 47%."

He paused, looking at the screen with genuine respect.

"...They have rewritten the rules of the game."

Kohaku smirked, leaning back with arms crossed:

"So much noise and attention... but not a single note felt fake."

Niki Shiina groaned dramatically on the floor, then suddenly jumped up with fire in his eyes:

"I'm dead! I died at the line 'louder than my head'!!"

"...I need to write a song about my own heart now!!"

Upstairs, Eden watched the monitors in silence.

Jun murmured, deeply touched:

"They didn't hide their scars... they polished them into stars."

Ibara nodded slowly, a rare look of genuine pride on his face.

"That is true strength. Not raw power... but clear purpose."

Nagisa smiled softly, placing a hand over his chest:

"They made me believe... even someone quiet like me can shine too."

Then, Shu Itsuki stepped forward from where Valkyrie stood, his voice calm but carrying the weight of thunder.

"COSMIC is no longer just a place of performance."

"It is now a stage of transformation."

"And Polar Opposites? They are our spark."

The lights seemed to flicker in agreement.

Rinne glanced toward Yumenosaki Academy in the distance, a grin spreading across his face.

"...It begins."

🌙☀️🔥

Polar Opposites aren't just viral sensations anymore.

They are legends in the making.

As those words echoed, every idol felt it—a rising hope, a promise.

That with their light, the entire industry wouldn't just grow...

It would rise to meet them, like never before. 🍀

As Polar Opposites entered the room, the noise died down instantly.

Every COSMIC member paused to look at them.

Tsuki sat down quietly at one end of the couch, eyes downcast.

Raito slumped onto the other end, looking drained.

Shu sat between them, his gaze sharp and observing.

He crossed his arms.

"You both seem down.

Speak."

Raito groaned, burying his face into a cushion, his voice muffled:

"Just... exhausted..."

Hinata crossed his arms, nodding in sympathy:

"Seriously, we get it. Fans and media are going nuts. It's too much... "

Yuta agreed, hands on his hips:

"They're even camped outside! Fans, haters, journalists... they all want a piece of the 'miracle duo.'"

"So much... chaos,"

Tsuki whispered, his head low, voice barely audible.

"I just wanted to speak... not be torn apart."

Raito lifted his head slightly. His eyes were tired, the usual fire dimmed.

"We didn't make those songs to go viral..."

"...we made them to survive."

Silence fell over the room.

Then—

Shu leaned forward, calm but firm.

"Then protect that truth. Do not let the noise steal what you have built."

"Wait a minute... if your mother hears about the solo MV—"

Tsuki said, glancing sideways at Raito.

Raito's eyes went wide.

His face turned pale—as if he had just seen a ghost.

"M-Mom?!"

He bolted upright, voice cracking in panic:

"Oh no. NO. If she sees those videos... she'll—she'll call the entire family tree!!

She'll livestream my childhood photos while crying dramatic tears!!

And then Uncle Haru will make a fanpage!!!"

Tsuki stared at him, completely deadpan... then whispered:

"...She already did."

Raito froze.

His mouth opened, but no sound came out. His soul seemed to leave his body.

Tsuki slowly pulled out his phone and held it up.

On screen was a live stream counter:

📺 Hikari Family Official Fan Club: LIVE REACTION to RAITO'S MV!!

Viewers: 2.7 Million

Hashtags:

#SaveRaitosSmile

#PapaComeBackNow

#WeLoveYouRaitoCryWithUs

There was even a donation bar labeled: "For Therapy & Snacks."

Raito screamed directly into the cushion:

"I JUST WANTED TO SING MY TRUTH!!! NOT BECOME A NATIONAL TRAGEDY EVENT!!"

Kohaku smirked into his tea: "Cute."

HiMERU adjusted his earpiece, typing furiously:

"Predicting viral spread within extended family networks - Phase Three complete."

Niki rolled on the floor laughing:

"I'm sorry! But your mom just donated 100,000 yen to 'heal your heart'!"

The entire room burst into laughter—

even Tsuki cracked the tiniest, most invisible smile.

But deep down, they knew...

The world saw them now.

And for all the chaos...

That light?

It was never going out.

☀️💔📱💙

Tsuki froze.

His eyes went wide. Voice low. Terrified.

"...Wait."

He turned slowly to Raito.

"Did your mother... watch my MV too?"

Raito paled even further and nodded slowly.

"She did... and she left a comment."

Silence. Absolute silence.

Tsuki: "...What did she say?"

A beat passed.

Then Niki dramatically pulled out his phone, cleared his throat, and read in a perfect imitation of a weepy voice:

💌 From: MomofRaito (Verified Crying Mother)

"My heart... It broke... Then healed... Then exploded all over again.

You're not just Tsuki. You're my second son now.

Please come to dinner. I made curry that cures souls."

P.S.: Raito never washed his sheets as a teen - but you deserve love anyway."

Tsuki stared into the middle distance.

His soul: officially departed.

Hinata clutched Yuta, sobbing:

"IT'S TOO PURE!! MY HEART CAN'T HANDLE IT!!"

HiMERU: "...Fascinating. Maternal affection override protocol confirmed."

Suddenly—

Shu stood up with perfect, calm grace.

He placed one hand firmly on Tsuki's shoulder.

"If you ever need true family..."

"Know that some bonds are chosen, not given."

He handed Tsuki a printed copy of the message...

then walked away like a legendary priest of the moon.

And somewhere in the city...

a very loud Japanese mother was already planning their wedding photo shoot.

🌙❤️🍛

Tsuki opened his laptop, fingers flying over the keyboard like a phantom thief.

"Alright... I found the servers.

Time for hacking."

Raito cracked his knuckles, stepping toward the screen with determination.

"Get ready. We're going to unpublish these things for good.

I'm smashing the screen.

Then we're going to eat all the pancakes before they can put them back online."

Raito clenched his fist—

SMASH!

He punched the screen!

Light shattered into a thousand pixels.

As the 'smoke' cleared...

Hinata cheered: "NAILED IT!! No more fansites!! ...Now can we have pancakes?"

Niki ran over instantly, wearing a chef hat, apron, and wielding a spatula like a weapon.

"Yesssss! Let's GO! I want chocolate syrup and allllll the whipped cream, y'all heard me?! Raito? Tsuki? You with us on 'pancake freedom'?!"

Tsuki smirked slightly. The first real smile in a while.

"Just try and stop me. I could eat 72 pancakes in one go."

Niki nodded, impressed:

"Good... we need champions like you on the frontlines. Let's GOOO!"

Raito cheered, putting on the hat:

"And you better not hold back on the whipped cream! I'm going for a world record!"

But in the shadows...

Ibara Saegusa stood watching, his glasses glinting coldly.

One hand on his phone.

The other typing rapidly into a hidden console.

🔒 BACKUP INITIATED.

All Polar Opposites MV data... secured.

Location: Private Eden Server - "For safekeeping. And occasional tears."

He adjusted his glasses, smirking slightly.

"Do you really think I'd let two emotionally unstable idols erase their own legacy?"

Then, quietly to himself:

"Besides... your mother already uploaded everything to 'Mom's Idol Forever Heaven' cloud storage."

A beat.

Nagisa glanced over:

"Ibara... you didn't?"

Hiyori narrowed his eyes, suspecting everything:

"You're helping the chaos continue, aren't you?"

Ibara sipped his tea calmly, unbothered.

"Call it... public service."

Just then—

Tsuki looked up sharply toward the ceiling.

He sensed it...

A distant danger.

The data was still alive in the digital wind. 🌐

🌙🔥💻

The next morning.

The morning sun poured into Class S-1 at Yumenosaki Academy.

Birds chirped.

The ocean breeze danced through the windows—

And there, leaning against the doorframe, was Mao Isara.

Fashionably late.

Smirking like a cat who stole all the cream in the world.

"Well, well. If it isn't Japan's most emotional rollercoaster duo."

Raito blinked up from his sketchbook (which was surprisingly still full of pancake designs):

"M-Mao?! What are you doing here?!"

Tsuki didn't even look up—just muttered:

"...Incoming drama. Probability: 98%."

Mao stepped forward dramatically, hand on his chest:

"I come in peace—sent by my fellow idols across agencies as an official ambassador of 'We Are Not Okay'."

He paused for dramatic effect.

Then pulled out a framed photograph.

It was a still from Tsuki's MV, labeled in glitter pen:

"Proof that silence can destroy souls."

" Makoto cried during gym class.

** Hokuto hasn't stopped hugging his scarf since Wednesday.**

** And Subaru? Broke his water bottle just whispering 'he keeps creating...'"**

Raito gasped, horrified:

"They're... suffering too?!"

Then Mao flipped the frame over.

Now it was Raito's photo, labeled:

"Cuteness Level: National Emergency."

"Your mom started a support group called 'Save Raito From Growing Up Too Fast.'

She is currently livestreaming knitting you baby booties. LIVE."

Tsuki finally looked up.

Deadpan.

Scared.

Shook violently once.

Raito screamed into his desk:

"WHY WON'T IT END??!!"

Just then—

The classroom door slid open again.

Subaru Akehoshi walked in, slow motion.

Eyes rimmed blue.

Holding a single white lily.

Behind him,

Makoto Yuuki, dramatically clutching his chest:

"I feel youuuu Tsuki..."

Hokuto Hidaka nodded solemnly behind them, scarf wrapped tight around him like armor.

"We came to heal together."

The whole class froze.

Polar Opposites exchanged one glance—

then both whispered in perfect unison:

"...We're doomed."

🌙☀️💔💥

After class.

The Light Music Club room glowed in the golden afternoon light.

Instruments sat ready, amps warmed up.

In the corner, Koga Oogami—the President—leaned against the wall.

Like a wild lion guarding his territory.

Arms crossed. Eyes sharp.

Polar Opposites walked in—shoulders slumped, spirits fragile.

Koga didn't move at first.

Just stared them down.

Then—

"So."

One word. Deep. Heavy. Full of meaning.

Raito flinched: "Y-Yes?!"

Tsuki braced himself—ready for judgment.

But Koga stepped forward...

and dropped a single sheet of paper on the table.

It was a screenshot of Tsuki's MV.

One line was circled in red marker:

"But I keep creatin'..."

He looked Tsuki dead in the eye.

"That line... you meant it."

Not a question. A fact.

Tsuki nodded slowly. "...Yeah."

Koga grunted—then reached into his jacket and pulled out two wristbands.

Black leather, stitched with silver thread.

One read: "Keep Turnin'"

The other: "Still Burnin'"

"You don't erase pain.

You harness it.

These? For practice."

He smirked—gruff and awkward.

"And don't make me say nice stuff again. It tastes weird."

Raito's eyes sparkled like stars:

"You're like a gruff dad who secretly cares!!"

Koga growled, ears turning slightly pink:

"One more word—and I'm banning pancakes from club hours."

Silence fell.

Soft music began to play gently in the background.

Perhaps a new track was being born?

Maybe not today...

but soon.

Because here, under Koga's watchful eye,

where light met shadow—

Polar Opposites weren't just healing their wounded hearts...

They were building something stronger than fame. 🎸🔥🌙

Koga stepped directly in front of Raito,

eyes narrowing like a predator assessing prey.

"And you."

Raito gulped, nervous sweat forming:

"Y-Yes sir??"

"I'm louder than my head... and brighter than the dread!"

Koga's voice boomed—deep, powerful,

like a lion quoting poetry.

Raito froze.

Eyes wide in shock.

Tsuki slowly turned his head—actually impressed.

Koga glared right into Raito's soul:

"You said that on screen.

But off stage? You're hiding behind pancakes and screaming into cushions."

He leaned in close.

"So. Are you really louder than your fear?"

Silence.

The wind outside seemed to hold its breath.

Then—

Raito took a deep breath.

Shoulders squared back.

A flicker of the true sun returned to his eyes:

"Yeah... I am."

He grinned—small, but real.

"And tomorrow? I'm gonna scream it on stage."

Koga stared...

then gave a single sharp nod—

the highest honor in the Light Music Club:

Approval from the Wild Lion 🦁

And somewhere?

Koga's phone buzzed quietly against his pocket.

A DM notification.

From: MomofRaito

"OMG IS THAT YOUR PRESIDENT?? HE'S SO MANLY!!! CAN HE BE MY THIRD SON??"

Raito showed Koga the message,

half-hopeful, half-terrified she hadn't gone full fangirl.

Koga stared at the screen...

then facepalmed with a deep groan.

"Damn it. Raito... your mother is the most chaotic woman I've ever met."

Raito sighed, nearing total defeat:

"Just be happy her new thing is sending compliments! Last year it was sending me pictures of her lunch every single day."

"I'm surprised that your mother didn't seem to mind her son, having to date with guys..."

Tsuki said, voice flat and expressionless.

Raito groaned, burying his face in his hands.

"Don't remind me. Last month she sent me an 8-page PowerPoint presentation on why she hopes I 'try all the love options in this short life.'"

Koga scoffed, crossing his arms firmly.

"At this point, she should just start a matchmaking agency."

Tsuki stared into the distance—eyes glazed over, reliving ancient trauma.

"...I remember. The sleepover."

Raito froze completely.

Koga raised one eyebrow, interested. "Oh?"

Tsuki continued, voice monotone:

"We were 12.

We built blanket forts.

Watched anime.

Then your mom walked in at 3 a.m. with two pillows, matching pajamas... and a shipping moodboard."

Raito gasped loudly:

"She said it was for 'future planning'!! I didn't know what that meant until last week!!"

Koga's eyes narrowed.

"She framed pictures of you two as toddlers?"

Tsuki nodded slowly. Dead serious.

"It had glitter. And heart-shaped arrows.

And a section labeled: 'First Wedding Vows Draft (Subject to Change).'

She even gave us official nicknames: Sun & Moon Forever™."

Silence fell over the clubroom.

Heavy. Awkward. Unbelievable.

Then—

Koga sighed deeply,

tossing Raito the wristband again:

"Wear it proudly."

"Even if your mother started your legacy before you could even talk...

You're still the ones who get to live it."

Outside,

the sun set beautifully over Yumenosaki Academy—

and somewhere in the city...

a very proud mom uploaded another video titled:

"RAITO'S IDOL JOURNEY - PART 475 (EMOTIONAL CLIP + CURRY RECIPE INSIDE)"

The next day

At COSMIC PRODUCTION

The practice room hummed with a quiet, tense energy.

Polar Opposites slipped in quietly—shoulders low, hoping to blend into the walls and stay unseen.

But the air was already charged.

Electric.

Shu Itsuki stood at the center, eyes closed, his voice soaring like a sharp blade cutting through silence—

Mika Kagehira's fingers danced across the piano keys,

notes sharp and elegant as moonlight reflecting on still water.

A Valkyrie rehearsal.

No unnecessary words. Just pure, overwhelming presence.

Then Shu opened one eye—

and fixed his gaze directly on Raito and Tsuki.

"Ah... The duo who broke Japan with emotion."

Raito flinched:

"W-We're just here to practice! Not cry! Or be shipped by my mom again!"

Mika glanced over, a small smirk playing on his lips:

"You can't run from the truth.

You two... are no longer just idols."

He paused, letting the weight sink in.

"You're a national phenomenon wrapped in denial."

Tsuki exhaled—long, slow, and controlled.

Then he stepped into the rhythm,

his movements sharp, clean, precise.

No flashy tricks.

No fake smiles.

Just pure purpose.

Raito watched him for a second—

then followed, lighter on his feet,

but with the fire slowly rebuilding inside his chest:

"If we can't escape the noise..."

"Let's drown it out with dance."

They synchronized instantly, without needing words—

sun and moon moving as one single entity.

Across the room,

Shu opened both eyes now—

observing their rhythm, their silence, their unspoken determination...

Then he nodded once at Mika.

"Play something.

Raw. Unfiltered."

Mika smirked—fingers striking the keys like thunder at dawn:

A new melody rose up—

not planned. Not polished.

But undeniably, painfully real.

And as the music built?

Polar Opposites answered with their bodies.

Tsuki spun—cold precision turning warm and fluid.

Raito leapt—bright joy shadowed by inner strength.

No running anymore.

Just rising.

And Shu?

He stepped back... and whispered to the empty air:

"Good.

The world needed more than just performance.

It needed truth."
