"Friday, all armors, turn towards the sky!" Stark instructed, standing on the ground.
Fortunately, Friday's core was integrated into the armor he was wearing, so the electromagnetic interference didn't affect him too much.
"Understood, sir."
The Iron Man armors that could still receive signals wobbled as they flew toward the sky.
They finally escaped the effects of below only after flying several thousand meters.
The least affected were the numbered armors.
After all, the numbered armors were designed to be main combat units, and Stark had equipped them with meticulously crafted, high-quality components.
After reaching the sky, all the Arc Reactors in the Iron Man armors' chests lit up.
Then, they established a connection with each other, forming a huge signal matrix.
Under the effect of this signal matrix, the electromagnetic interference in this area was reduced to a minimum.
Subsequently, with Friday's control over these Iron Man armors, those that had fallen due to signal loss all flew up, or simply charged directly towards Thanos.
Thanos drew a large sword made of sand from the yellow sand and sliced an Iron Man armor charging at him in half with one blow.
His gaze turned towards Iron Man, who was standing not far away.
"Sir, high-energy reaction!"
"I know. Ready, Friday?" Stark stood calmly on the ground.
"Ready, sir!"
"Good!"
"So, it's you, huh? You're the one who sent these pieces of junk to bother me, right?" Thanos walked towards Stark step by step.
"I heard you're the overlord of the universe? When did purple potatoes become so popular in the universe?" Stark mocked.
Thanos looked at him coldly.
The large sand tornados around him would automatically turn away when they got close.
But behind Stark, several large tornados were approaching, vaguely surrounding him.
It looked like Iron Man was about to be finished off by Thanos! Not far away, some accessories suddenly appeared in front of Hulk and Thor, who were lost in the sand. They quickly disassembled, and the hands and feet were put on the two of them.
Boom!
The jet engines ignited, launching the two of them away from the area.
Just then.
Boom!
The Iron Man armor's engines also unleashed their maximum speed in an instant, carrying him away.
"Launch!"
With Iron Man's command.
In the sky, all the armors fired downwards together.
The shockwave from the missile explosions instantly carved a path through the chaotic, swirling sand tornado.
When the channel was cleared, a missile gleaming with cold light could be seen rapidly launching towards them!
If Thanos understood Earth's weapons, he would know this was Earth's ultimate weapon: ---
Nuclear Missile!
Thanos narrowed his eyes.
He didn't recognize the weapon, but he could sense the danger emanating from it.
Judging from the way that ridiculous tin can of a man had deliberately lured him to this location, this had to be an important attack method for the opponent.
However... ridiculous, just ridiculous!
The Reality Stone on the Infinity Gauntlet flashed.
Iron Man stood in the high sky, rapidly ascending along with several of his Iron Man armors.
He believed that no carbon-based life form could withstand the power of a Nuclear Missile head-on!
Even if they weren't destroyed by the shockwave, they would be eliminated by the subsequent high temperatures, radiation, and other sustained damage!
Fortunately, his teammates were all outside now.
He had sent Hulk and Thor away in advance with replacement parts from the Iron Man armor. He had already asked Friday about Peter's situation. Friday and Karen were connected, and they had located Peter thousands of meters above the ground. He was a little injured and couldn't come up for the time being.
Iron Man ascended, watching the nuclear missile rapidly closing in on the purple dot (Thanos) below.
Everything was going as he hoped.
Five, four…
Why was Thanos standing still?
Iron Man frowned, a little puzzled.
Three, two…
Why still not moving?
Was he looking up at me?
Iron Man felt a growing unease.
One!
BOOM!
The nuclear missile exploded right above Thanos's head!
However, as Iron Man's expression shifted from surprise to shock and then to terror, the nuclear missile that held their hopes crumbled into a handful of red sand. It cascaded down from Thanos's head and quickly blended with the surrounding red sand.
Iron Man was completely stunned.
"To arbitrarily change reality, is this… the Reality Stone?" Stark murmured to himself.
"Yes, this is the Reality Stone," Thanos's voice echoed in Stark's ear.
Stark came to his senses and found himself back on the ground.
Thanos reached out and grabbed Stark's head, the sturdy nano-steel armor creaking under his grip.
With a forceful tug, he tore away the faceplate of Iron Man's armor.
Looking at the face beneath, Thanos showed a hint of appreciation in his eyes: "I admire you, Stark, but unfortunately, you chose the wrong opponent."
Stark wasn't about to be killed and condensed a Nano-Blade on his right wrist, stabbing at Thanos.
However, Thanos simply reached out and caught the Nano-Blade.
The Infinity Gauntlet contained the Dwarves' magic, making it even stronger than weapons made from Uru Steel. The Nano-Blade couldn't harm it in the slightest.
Crack! The Nano-Blade was snapped by Thanos, who then shoved it into Stark's abdomen.
"Don't worry, I won't kill you directly. Once I have all six Infinity Stones, half of the population will die, and the other half will live. If you're lucky, maybe you'll survive," Thanos said, surprisingly verbose, perhaps out of genuine appreciation.
Or maybe it was just a victor's wicked sense of humor.
Just as Stark was about to meet his end, Thanos suddenly frowned and withdrew his hand.
Swoosh! A red light flashed across the surface of the Iron Man armor.
Stark had appeared a few hundred meters away.
It turned out that Strange had rushed back and saved Stark in time.
"Are you alright?" Strange helped Stark.
Stark reached out and pulled out the broken blade from his abdomen, throwing it on the ground: "Don't worry, I won't die. Friday, replenish the nano-particles."
"Sir, your body has suffered a severe blow, and your vital signs are rapidly declining." Friday obviously didn't agree with Stark's willful behavior.
"Shut up, I'm Stark, and if I say I can, then I can!" Stark roared, "Give me the nano-particles quickly!"
"Strange, send Thor, Hulk, and Peter back to Earth. During this time, I will hold him off," Stark covered his abdomen and limped towards Thanos.
Strange stretched out his hands and took out Raggador's Rings, quickly walking forward beside Stark: "What are you kidding? Let us retreat? I haven't even played yet?"
"Wizard!" Stark stopped. "Listen, we don't stand a chance right now. We need to preserve our strength for a second battle. A final battle!"
