Michael's eyes softened as he found himself back inside the main headquarters of the Indomitable Alliance faction.
His gaze remained fixed for a few silent seconds, deep in thought, recalling his struggles to overcome the Titan on the Sun.

Until the sound of bare feet running at full speed echoed from farther ahead.
"MICHAEL!!!"
In a flash, Ruby appeared and lunged at him, her flexible body wrapping around him like a blanket, holding him tightly and refusing to let go. Her innocent blue eyes peered into his very soul, while her tail swayed back and forth in what was probably the most excited state Michael had ever seen his feline companion.
"I missed you so much!" She cried out loud, her voice filled with a mixture of relief, concern, and countless other emotions.
A large smile spread across Michael's face, seeing her again after what felt like forever.
