The white light faded bit by bit… and Eris found himself falling.
Not through air.
Through memories.
Voices, sounds, emotions, fragments of ancient battles—all passing him like glowing feathers. When he finally struck solid ground, he gasped and looked up.
He was back in the Ancient Vault, lying on the cold stone floor.
But everything was different.
The seven floating pedestals were dim. The crystal core had cracked. The air felt heavier… as if something enormous had just brushed against reality.
Eris pushed himself up, breathing hard.
His entire body tingled with a strange electricity. His heartbeat echoed like a drum inside his chest.
"What… what was that projection…?"
Before he could finish speaking, a hand touched his shoulder.
He spun around—
It was Nymera.
Her silver markings were faintly glowing, eyes sharper than before.
"Eris," she said softly, "your aura… it's changed. Something awakened."
Behind her, the other female characters you added stood alert:
Seris, the blade-dancer with moonlit eyes.
Liora, the fire monk with ember tattoos.
Astra, the quiet seer whose eyes reflected constellations.
All three were staring at him with a mixture of concern and awe.
Nymera stepped closer, lowering her voice.
"What happened inside the Vault?"
Eris swallowed.
"I met them… the original Clan of Seven. They said I'm their vessel. Their final weapon." He paused, eyes darkening. "And then Asmodeus appeared. His projection broke the realm."
The three girls exchanged tense looks.
Astra whispered, "If the Demon King can infiltrate the memory plane… his full awakening is close."
Eris clenched his fists.
"I need to get stronger. Fast."
But just as he said that—
RUMBLE.
The entire Vault shook. Dust fell from the ceiling. The stone rings beneath them pulsed violently.
Liora drew her twin flame-poles. "What now?"
Seris stepped in front of Eris instinctively. "Something else is activating."
The ground split open.
From the crack rose a massive stone golem, carved with the seven-element insignia, its eyes burning like molten cores.
A mechanical voice boomed:
"DESCENDANT ERIS. THE ASTRAL BREACH HAS BEEN DETECTED. FINAL TRIAL INITIATING."
Eris froze.
"Final… what?"
The golem slammed its fist into the ground, creating shockwaves.
Nymera shouted, "MOVE!"
Eris dodged narrowly as the giant arm shattered the floor where he stood.
Astra called out, "This isn't a test of strength—this is a test of control! Your awakened power is unstable!"
Eris felt his seven-element aura flare wildly. Sparks of lightning, flame, wind and shadow erupted without his command.
He gritted his teeth.
"If I can't stabilize this… the golem will crush me."
Nymera pointed her spear. "We're with you!"
The giant golem charged again, each step shaking the entire vault.
Eris inhaled deeply…
trying to center all seven elements inside him.
Fire.
Water.
Wind.
Stone.
Lightning.
Shadow.
Spirit.
He forced them to align—
The golem lifted its arm—
A giant hammer of pure stone forming—
Eris opened his eyes.
They were glowing with seven colors at once.
"I am the Last Descendant," he whispered.
"And I control ALL of you."
His aura surged—
He leapt—
And the battle began.
